We visited Bournemouth’s Oceanarium and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of sea creatures they have there I found the disabled access extremely good and smooth I could access 99.9% of the Oceanarium in my mobility scooter which is in my book a major plus. My children loved watching all the different fish, mammals and sea birds I loved looking and learning all about them via the information boards they had dotted around the Oceanarium while my youngest loved playing in the kids play.

If you are an OAP who refuses to grow up, this is Heaven. Enthusiasm of volunteers just amazing. We only covered a tiny amount of the Museum as we were snared by the live insect display. We watched silk worms much through a mountain of Mulberry leaves, learned about fascinating insect chemical warfare and insect subterfuge. Rejuvenated by coffee and chocolate dinosaurs we briefly explored other areas. Just loved the duck billed platypus and sword fish skeleton. We would like to thank all.

Kings Park Drive, Bournemouth BH7 7AF

Since 1910

Arena, Stadium, Sports, Matches, Leagues, Playground, Events, Football League & Shops

Capacity of the Stadium: 11,464 - Vitality Stadium Currently Known as Dean Court - It has been greatly improved with the addition of the Ted MacDougall Stand at the South End of the ground

Call for Hours

This is a great story of a small English football club who were on the brink of extinction, now clashing swords with the best teams in the UK. The stadium itself is the smallest in the league but this allows fans to create a great atmosphere. I understand that they are planning to expand the South Stand at the end of this current season which would see a capacity increase of 27% from 11,500 to 14,500. Staff are friendly and the stadium is well maintained. Definitely worth coming.
