Bournemouth Natural Science Society & Museum is a natural history museum housed in a Victorian building featuring fossils, minerals, and an Egyptology collection. Society has trained and encouraged its members and the general public for over a hundred years by offering a diverse programme of seminars. The Museum has various archaeological items and a collection of Egyptology in its sarcophagus with a 2500-year-old mummy. Bournemouth Natural Science Society & Museum holds several thousand late 19th-century photographic slides and two libraries of more than 5000 volumes available for loan and reference. The building grounds include a lovely garden supporting BNSS gardens with a pond and wildlife in an urban environment. The Museum offers the best experience to all visitors and has some policies in place. That is the customer care policy and access policy statement.

2025 Update: They have disabled access through double doors on the left-hand side of the building to the Lecture Theatre and Toilets on the lower ground floor, and to the ground floor via a chair-lift.

VITALITY STADIUM

Vitality Stadium features two family stands, a junior fan zone with activities, and a club. Initially, the stadium was called Dean Court, and it is home to AFC Bournemouth. The stadium is on the land of an old gravel pit. The ground was not completed at the beginning of the 1910–11 season. Early improvements on the ground included a stand with 300 seats. In 2001, the field was entirely restored; the pitch rotated ninety degrees from its original location. The stadium has a spacious seating capacity and is all seated in the correct size. Vitality Stadium is also used for music and concerts.

2025 Update: The stadium hosted the world’s biggest international football clubs, Real Madrid, in 2013 and has since witnessed the club’s first-ever Premier League victory over four-time defending champion Manchester City in 2024.
