EUREKA! THE NATIONAL CHILDREN’S MUSEUM REVIEWS
Me and my wife decided to book this for my daughters birthday. My daughter absolutely loved it and enjoyed herself. Also we found it very cool too. The food was also good and santa clause and the elf were very nice and my daughter enjoyed herself.
Weekends and holidays get really busy but still worth going! Bargain when you can go throughout the year for the one price you originally pay! Perfect for young ones who love role play! Up to older ones with the doctors and science areas. Have been back twice and will definitely come again! Pay and display parking is reasonably priced and accepts cash and card and there is big area for picnics if you bring your own food- inside and outside. Food in the cafe is varied and tasty- usual prices but very big portions!
Great experience for kids - fab for sensory activities and overall brilliant experience. Lots of different role plays for kids to fit into. Museum is quite large so even if it's busy, kids don't have to really wait a round to play with something.

BANKFIELD MUSEUM REVIEWS
I went primarily to see the costume exhibition from Gentleman Jack, but discovered that this Museum is a hidden gem. Their collections of original historical clothing is exquisite and displayed beautifully too. I wish I could have spent longer looking at their entire collection of local history....there is something for everybody. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable too.
Fantastic costume exhibition for Gentleman Jack but so much else as well. Lovely friendly staff. Free entry but do leave a donation. Good parking. Stunning house with so much history. You can get coffee in the gift shop. Amazing place.
Great museum to visit for young & old. We went really to see The Gentleman Jack's Exhibition. Wonderful display of costumes used by cast members. Lots of military things to see & read about. Fashion & textile display. A small toy exhibition too. There's a little shop & cafe, toilets as well And it's free.

CALDERDALE INDUSTRIAL MUSEUM REVIEWS
We really enjoyed our visit here this week. It feels like a real gem of a museum...and free for children. My 5 year old daughter loved exploring the different areas and having opportunities to draw, craft, try out print making, sock making and sweet wrapping machines. The volunteers couldn't have been more helpful. They were so informed and eager to share their knowledge of different industries and great with the children. A lovely shop and cafe too. It was such a joy to stumble upon it after a walk around Piece Hall.
Lovely museum. Has some great pieces of industry on display. The best part was definitely talking to the volunteers. Each section has their own expert who are on hand with all the information about every aspect. You can tell that the volunteers love the place. Especially enjoyed the weaving looms and the toffee wrapping machine. A gem of a place and the tea room was lovely too.
Volunteers are REALLY happy and pleased to shownyounhow things work, they know the history and cannot do enough to assist you on your visit. A great place for the kids. The cafe could do with a little more options though.
