This is an absolute treasure of a museum situated in the village of Upper Mill. The museum delivers an informative and interesting social history of the area of Saddleworth right through from The Prehistoric era to the 20th Century. The museum has a treasure of great exhibits such as The Austin Car, Looms, Motorbikes and Rushcarts. The interesting areas of note are The Milling History and The Life of Farmers in the areas as it gives an idea of how hard life was at times and also the Milling industry is what gave the area its identity and notereity. There are two galleries upstairs in the place which talk about the history of Saddleworth in particular in the upstairs gallery you can see a working loom and also the inside of a Cottage in the local area showing the kitchen and dining room giving you an idea of what life was like for people living there. All the galleries are laid out in a very easy to understand and the information on display is very informative without being overloaded making it more interesting about the history of the Saddleworth area. There is an Art Gallery which houses some very interesting art, which is great to view. The admission fee into the museum is £3, which is extremely reasonable and an absolute bargain for a gem of a museum. There is a gift shop at the museum selling a lovely range of souvenirs at reasonable prices. Overall this is a gem of a museum and a thoroughly great place to visit and learn about the history of Saddleworth.

My wife and I decided to make a visit to this lovely little museum spread over 4 floors, and it cost us just 3 pounds each to get in great price, and the wonderful staff are so helpful and very welcoming . there is so much to read and see . well worth a visit they have costume for children to dress up in . they have a little shop and toilets for paying customers on the ground floor. So next time you're in Saddleworth / Uppermill, pay them a visit, and you will not be disappointed.

Amazing Museum with lots of interactive sections. Great for all ages and set in such a lovely place. Staff are friendly and they give you trails to spot things whilst going around the museum. Will return.

The actual stadium and parking are excellent......just be mindful if its a cash only gate! Its a long hike to a cash machine.......more our problem than anything Boundary Park can control. Inside is spotless, decent facilities and great view of the pitch.

Our team of 'minnows' were warmly welcomed by the staff at Oldham. A great bunch of lads and lasses .. And their players were very accommodating, as they let Hendon FC walk away with a FA TROPHY victory.

My wife and I had a hospitality package with friends and we were well looked after by the warm and friendly staff.
