VERULAMIUM MUSEUM REVIEWS
This place was amazing and such great value. See photo for entrance prices. It comprises of three parts to the visit. The first is the museum, there are so many artifacts to see. The mosaics and small findings are in such good condition. The next part is the building with the mosaic in situ. Then there is the amphitheatre. The entrance ticket gets you into all of them. I'll definitely be returning.
If you love all things Roman, then a your in for a treat..The mosaic tiled floors are stunning and the exhibition areas well thought out and presented..A tip, is to buy a combined ticket to include tb include the ampitheatre across the road for another fantastic experience..
Quite an interesting museum, covering the third largest town in Roman Britain. Information is available for kids right through to adults more familiar with Roman history.

DE HAVILLAND AIRCRAFT MUSEUM REVIEWS
Fantastic relatively small aircraft museum where you can learn everything about the De Havilland aircraft produced over the past 100+ years. Great covered displays of many historic aircraft. Especially of interest the famous Mosguito fighter bombers. Other exhibits include the famous Comet aircraft and many more. I was lucky enough to get a free guided tour by one the volunteers which enabled me to see some restoration work in progress. An absolute must see place for aviation enthusiasts.
This is a small museum with lots of enthusiastic volunteers and well worth a visit. It is less than five minutes from the motorway and way better than any service station. The cafe serves excellent cream teas and the museum has lots of exhibits. There are frequent short talks and presentations and plenty of opportunities for questions. A visit here certainly breaks up a long journey.
A really interesting museum with plenty of volunteers about if you want any detailed info on the exhibits. Plenty to see in the hangers and many planes stored outside so you need good weather to enjoy those. Will certainly make a return visit.

ST ALBANS MUSEUM + GALLERY REVIEWS
Small museum with a peaceful ambiance. Staff are really friendly and the gift shop has the cutest gifts. Lots of aesthetic paintings, art and filled with history.
A great place to learn the history of this amazing city. A bit cramped though so hope the plans to move it to a larger facility go ahead.
A bright modern museum space with some great exhibits, especially the early cinema featuring films from over 100 years ago.
