STOCKPORT AIR RAID SHELTERS REVIEWS
We all really enjoyed our little trip to the Stockport Air Raid Shelter. Absolute bargain entry price for a few hours of keeping the kids entertained over school hols. Probably wouldn’t go again as it’s not that kind of thing - once seen, you’re done. But I would definitely recommend to anyone if you haven’t been before. The staff are all really lovely and knowledgeable & there’s a cute little gift shop with interesting things for kids to spend their pocket money.
I always loved going here as a kid. This place gives you a valuable glimpse into the past and you can feel the history behind it. I really think that you will love this place to and so will your family or friends. I highly recommend that you come here.

AVRO HERITAGE MUSEUM REVIEWS
An excellent museum. Small but still loads of things to see. Very much enjoyed our visit. Lost one star because the café had no vegan sandwiches/cake/milk.
A superb little museum packed with loads of interest. I did the Lancaster and Vulcan cockpit tours, as well as the VR Lancaster bombing run. Clean and tidy, well laid out and exceptionally helpful staff and volunteers... well worth a visit.
A fascinating history of Avro at Woodford. The Lancaster cockpit is especially interesting, but the whole thing is very well presented and staffed by very knowledgeable and friendly volunteers.

STOCKPORT MUSEUM REVIEWS
Lovely place full of history and information about Stockport and the local area, right through from prehistoric times to present day. Went with my 3 daughters aged 6, 4 and 2. Enough fun to keep youngsters occupied while elders can dive into the educational stuff.
It was a great place for a family day out, my daughter had lots of fun, there are many activities and role play sections. It's not overwhelmingly big , so we spent two hours and a half approximately, there is a nice small gift shop. The ladies were so kind and friendly. Highly recommend.
Absolutely loved it. I am a childminder and took 6 children. They were kept busy exploring all the amazing activities.
