The Gurkha Museum at Winchester tells 200 years of Gurkha's stirring and unforgettable story of serving the British Crown and its people. The World War of 1939-45, 120,000 Gurkhas fought in Malaya and Burma against the Japanese and the Germans and Italians in North Africa and Italy. You can visit the foundation to buy handicrafts and jewellery locally sourced from Nepal at the Museum store and check out many other Gurkha souvenirs for all ages. It offers complimentary admission for children and friends of the museum.
