Lovely hotel with so much history. After a long journey it was a shame that dinner took just over 2 hours to be completed. So slow between courses before the food came. Bedroom very good and clean Reception very helpful and polite. An excellent hotel in the centre of Winchester steaped in history.

From the moment we checked into the hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, thank you to the very efficient receptionist for her help in finding us a parking space and recommending the wonderful garden restaurant. Central hotel good value large rooms. We will be back again to further explore Winchester.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The service was excellent. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff. Big thanks to Raj on the desk who made everything pleasant.

THE WINCHESTER HOTEL & SPA REVIEWS

A wonderful experience. We checked in after a hard day of loading up as we were moving house and we were lucky enough to be guest of the day. This gave us free parking a free drink, a room upgrade, chocolates in the room and a discount at the restaurant. We got there just in time for dinner and it was lovely. We had grilled fish and sticky toffee pudding and baked cheesecake. The service was great and very attentive. The cocktails and mocktails were also lovely. We would highly recommend it for a romantic break.

This was our second stay at the hotel. For us the location is good but at about a mile walk from the centre some may be put off? However there is plenty of parking here, unlike some in the centre. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The local trout was in a very tasty sauce. And there was a good selection of fine dining type as well as "classics" to choose from. Breakfast also very good with a wide choice at the buffet. All in all we were very happy and look forward to staying there again.

Really nice location with plenty parking, some of which is council at the front of the hotel. We had a lovely relaxing massage followed by afternoon tea. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly.

THE WYKEHAM ARMS REVIEWS

We loved our stay at the Wykeham Arms Pub hotel. While the third floor room might have been stuffy, the window let in fresh air and the bathroom was spacious and light. The pub is amazing for its ambiance and food. The atmosphere draws both locals and guests and we chose to eat there twice because the food was so delicious. Staff are extremely helpful and kind. We had a wonderful visit while we were there and highly recommend eating at the pub and visiting the amazing Winchester Cathedral, as well as fishing in the local Chalk Streams on the River Test if possible. What a beautiful place!

Fantastic place to base yourself for a stay in the Winchester area. The Hamilton room in particular is lovely. The service was on point, and the food was fabulous across dinner & breakfast. The decor and ambiance is great, and it's a nicely busy pub with good clientele. Everything you'd want in such a beautiful town.

Never stayed at the hotel, as I live in Winchester. However, I love the pub! Great food and a good selection of beers.
