2025 Update: Worthing Connaught Theatre & Studio is a Streamline Moderne-style theatre and cinema with a rich history. It is originally privately owned; it was purchased by The Corporation in 1966 and reopened the following year under the management of trustees. Since 1999, the Connaught and Studio complex has been operated by Worthing Borough Council before becoming part of a charitable trust in 2019. Over the years, the venue has seen several improvements, including the installation of a lift in 2007 for full wheelchair access, new state-of-the-art seating in 2010, and modern Dolby digital projection and sound systems, making it Worthing’s first SD cinema. The theatre has a licensed bar, cloakroom facilities, disabled facilities, and parking.
