Waun Wen Primary School provides the primary aim of the school in encouraging and developing each child to reach their maximum individual potential in all areas of school life. The school was built in a years ago and has been extensively re-modelled on semi-open plan lines to provide a pleasant and spacious teaching environment. At Waun Wen Primary School, the primary aim of the school in three separate floors, and the hall is used as a dining area and accommodates a servery where meals are cooked on site. On the fourth floor the school houses ‘Flying Start’ which incorporates free child-care for children aged 2 to 3 and in special circumstances babies.

They aim to provide a pleasant, exciting and stimulating environment in which children will feel secure and which will promote their personal development. St. Helens Primary School is a vibrant, multicultural primary school for 2 to 11-year-olds based in the City Centre of Swansea. The school is one form of entry and has a Flying Start Nursery and 8-year groups, with no mixed-age classes. They place the school at the heart of the community and strive for academic excellence. St. Helens Primary School develop the whole child academically, physically, morally and spiritually by providing a happy, safe environment in which their children can learn important life skills.
