KIP MCGRATH PRESTON NORTH REVIEWS

Our son has attended KIP McGrath in Broughton at different points over the last 5 years. He was tutored in English and our main concern was his confidence. He struggles to finish exams and this was turning him off any subject that involved reading or writing. He's had different tutors and taken lessons online and in the centre. All the tutors boosted his confidence and worked with him to show him how to maximise his time. KIP were flexible when he had a lot of school work, making sure any homework was in line with what he was learning at school. On the odd occasion we needed to change a session, KIP were happy to accommodate. In May, he sat his GCSE and although he didn't complete the paper, he did achieve a very good pass in both literature and language. I can't thank KIP enough. He's avoided a re-sit, but more importantly he enjoys reading and is still confident to write. I don't think he would feel this way without the encouragement of the Kate, Louise and the rest of the team. Thank you again!

Following a period of prolonged illness, we found our daughter was struggling maths. We chose lessons at KIP as we knew and respected the owner from her previous role as a local primary school teacher. Our daughter has throughly enjoyed her time at KIP. She has grown in confidence and far exceeded her expected results in GCSE maths. The staff are all kind and supportive and quickly established what type of learner she was and how best to engage her. Joanne has worked miracles with my daughter. Not only has her academic ability soared, her gained confidence has been a total game changer. For a child who had decided she hated maths and struggled with anxiety and perfectionism, now skips into lessons smiling. School have also noticed her new found confidence. Most important of all, my daughter is much happier and has learned from Jo much more than mathematics! From my heart, THANK YOU!

I can’t recommend Jo highly enough! She helped my daughter gain confidence in maths just in time for her SATS exam in Year 6. She shared many tips and tricks which has resulted in my daughter to become more independent in her school work. Thank you!
