OWD BETTS REVIEWS
Great place for a great steak dinner, friendly but respectful staff. Old traditional looking pub but with contemporary qualities. Arrived early evening so less busy and quiet enough to hear yourself speak. Checked for preferences and the menu is changed often. Friday nights is steak night and booking a table will avoid disappointment, as they say 'up north' !!!
We visited tonight to remember our mum on her first Birthday in Heaven - she loved the cheese pie here so we asked the restaurant to save us four portions. The food, atmosphere and staff were amazing! We had a lovely time with lots of laughs and good memories. Thankyou to the team for a lovely evening.
This public house is absolutely beautiful and well situated with scenic views. As for the food, omg the Sunday Roast is amazing and full of flavour and the desert is divine.

THE OXFORD REVIEWS
Large menu & specials. Innovative choices & old favourites. Small plates & vegetarian. Pulled beef doughnuts to start. A small & standard fish & chips. Crispy batter. Curry sauce extra. Loved lime green menus & serviettes. Cheery waiter, checks on our meals. Partner enjoyed small brewery ales. Large garden and car park. Busy on Friday night. Churros s'mores - toasted marshmallows in chocolate sauce/ice cream & churros. Will go back.
Been here several times and never disappointed with the food. Really good sized portions and good quality. Three of us eat and had Fish, chips and peas, small scampi , and one had cheese and onion pie. All food was excellent.
This was the first time that i have dined here and the food was brilliant, choices of meals to suit everyone, they even have small portions.

THE BAUM REVIEWS
This was one of my best lunchtime meals ever. I had their classic cheese and onion pie with minted peas and mashed potato. Superb! I also shared my fiancée's skin on chips which looked and tasted wonderful. I don't often have a pudding. However today I tried the Baum's sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce, almond brittle and clotted cream. It was exceptional. Try this place; it is great. Great staff too, and the building has tons of character.
Amazing. Went there tonight with family. Ordered some delicious food, some very tasty drinks. Huge selection of beers from all over the world. Nice cost surroundings, good facilities and friendly staff. Can't rate highly enough!
My family booked the function room for an 80th birthday party at The Baum and the staff and owner could not have been more helpful, welcoming or accommodating. The space is perfect for a small group, the food was generous and fabulous and each and every staff member gave excellent service.
