We arrived about 30 minutes early for our booking and the staff managed to fit us in straight away! The food is delicious I’ve been here a few times now. One of the best pubs in the north west.

I had an amazing time at the Bottle and Glass! The food was excellent and the staff were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was cosy, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to come back.

Me & me partner turned up for lunch we didn’t have a booking put they still accommodated us, lovely country pub staff were lovely, never really have a starter but today we had started, main course, dessert and coffee OMG we couldn’t move we were stuffed but we enjoyed it.

Quiet, non rowdy, pleasant, friendly pub with great food and great seating which is clean and tidy. The background music wasn't intrusive and easy on the ears. The prices are very fair. The food was delicious, I'm only gutted we didn't get here earlier so we could have had deserts. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The parking is ample. Well worth a visit after getting off the train at Lea Green railway station. Will defo be coming back.

Great lovely food. Doesn't do Real Ales any more which is a shame. My friend and I had mixed Grill very filling. The two lady's had lasagne one meat and one veggie both enjoyed. Handy for cheeky pint while waiting for the train also.

Me and my husband went for tea on Friday had fish and chips food was amazing as always good quality piping hot and good portions. Staff are lovely very friendly and welcoming I've tried lots of different things on the menu in the past all have been amazing would highly recommend great pub great food great staff.

This pub is head & shoulders above most other pubs you’re ever likely to frequent. From the choice of cask ales (with CAMRA discount), bar snacks - pies & cheese boards, beer gardens, a huge TV screen and we’ve got a Northern Soul vibe going on this evening. No visit to St Helens is complete without calling here.

Quality pub that’s won a load of awards over the years. Short Walk from St. Helens town centre. Lots of ales. Something for everyone. Good range of whiskey and brandy too. Serves simple hearty grub (pies,pizza,hotpot)interesting local characters and friendly behind the bar. Shows the sports. Great pub. Highly recommended if you’re in the town.

Absolutely love this pub. Only found out about it last year as it’s out of the town centre but well worth the walk. Always packed to the rafters every time we go. Lovely warm atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and helpful. When the weather is decent, which isn’t very often in St Helens, they have the most gorgeous beer garden full of flowers and more recently a little ice cream hut and barbecue. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating. Inside there’s a huge pulldown screen in the main bar for when the Rugby and football is on. My favourite is the pizza which is amazing, where else can you get a large pizza and a pint for £11! A proper old traditional pub with a great choice of beer and ales. Well worth the visit you won’t be disappointed.
