Took the kids for the buffet breakfast. They have an offer on where 2 kids eat free with an adult so it truly is exceptional value for what I paid. Can't fault the food, as expected really for a typical pub buffet breakfast. The only slight annoyance was being told I can order on the app which I thought would be the easiest way with 2 small kids, but what a chore. Tried the website then downloaded the app only for it to not have the option for the kids eat free buffet breakfast that the waiter told me to take advantage of. Value for money was definitely there, spent a total of £11.49 (included a fresh orange for me).

My parents had booked dinner for a party of 21, to celebrate my Dad's 70th Birthday on Saturday evening. From the word go the staff were super attentive, helpful, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They made everyone feel super welcome and made sure everyone was happy with their food. They even joined in on singing Happy Birthday and making my Dad feel very special! Food was delicious, 14 people had carvery and others ordered from the menu. The timings were perfect. I was very impressed with them. Definitely a 5 star service from Vicky, her son and all the team.

Food was all cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, had a hiccup with an order missing but they were so apologetic & was out within 10mim of me balling and gave me two very large slices of cake as a sorry. Really appreciated :-)

Lovely country pub. We eat here every week for many years. Best burger in the area for sure (signature burger). Stacey always serves us with a warm welcome and a smile. Lovely folks run this place, recommend.

This was a lovely place to eat I ordered steak & ale pie with fries & vegetables and my husband had the pork belly they was both lovely and for dessert I had homemade tart with custard and my husband tried the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. The food was lovely worth the money and big portions, I would highly recommend.

popped in after a long day at the Zoo! the staff was lovely and welcoming, we got Sunday roasts and they was absolutely huge but absolutely delicious too! Beautiful pub, lovely decor, clean and unique definitely would go again!

Well, that was fabulous!! What a great steak deal and superbly cooked too! I chose the 10oz Hanger steak, which apparently is known as the "butcher's cut" as it's so good they normally keep it for themselves!! It was fabulous and perfectly cooked to medium rare! All for £18.95 and included a starter and a dessert for that price too - less than half the price of Grill on the Square and I would doubt they could beat the quality or the chef!! Excellent!!

Went here for date night, while it was rather busy staff were really great and attentive, food was amazing and didn't wait long for service either, will definitely be going back.

Came in for a quick bite to eat to celebrate our anniversary. Service was amazing and the food was absolutely incredible. Definitely recommend, and well be back again soon.
