First I would like to thank the five young gentlemen that helped with our house move , namely Alex, James, Sean, Nathan and Tam a very well mannered and disciplined team ,the way they operated as a team and interacted with each other was quite special. On a personal note our moving day went from bad to worse as problems occurred with the chain broken lack of communication by the estate agents and lawyers pushed both me and my wife to the limits, and it was having a worrying affect on us both, the way these young men to a man kept reassuring us talking and encouraging us was quite remarkable we thank them from the bottom of out hearts , their energy and understanding made the difference and I'm sure changed the course of the day . Thanks again for a professional job.

My movers Tee, Declan and Bett were wonderful, courteous, precise and handled all inventory with great care. A superb attention to detail was made to make sure I had all my i's dotted and t's crossed. Pickfords were superb for our recent move from a large house in the Highlands to a much smaller house in the Borders. Nothing was too much trouble for Nathan James and Mike. They were really nice guys. No breakages either and all done in the timescale promised.

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. They charge by the hour so their price came in at half the price of other removal firms which would only quote a flat fee. Their cheerfulness and helpfulness took away some of our moving day stress. They were quick but careful and moved us into our new house in less than four hours.
