3 Best Sports Shops in South Gloucestershire, UK

I have found myself shopping in this store a few times recently and i must say that the lady on the till is an absolute star and provides a customer service we have come to expect but actually rarely get these days ,its so refreshing to enter a big branded store and walk out feeling like a valued customer from even the smallest of purchases. I did want to email the store to sing praises but unfortunately and rather sadly you can only submit complaints!! A shame.

Was in store early today picking out trainers, store has extremely helpful and welcoming staff members, but wanted to give extra praise to one in particular (Kam Law). Not often that staff stand out, but he was extremely helpful, seen me checking out padding for shoes and offered a pair that suited my needs perfectly without being asked, definitely went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice easy experience in store.

Very good the young lady assistant helped sort me out ,i was going to buy two different sizes of shoe ,they looked the same to me.

This was my first and probably only time visit to Doug Hillard Sports (not being local) and was after some some new darts and accessories on the off chance. They have a great range of brands, barrel types, weights etc. and allow you to have a go with products before you buy. Great customer service provided too. Result, a very happy customer. This is what I would call a proper sports shop.

Very nice services. I recieved the wrong size of my trousers of ordered kit and they have given me the right size very next day with all knitted work done in front of me. Got bit frustrated with wrong size though but everything is perfect if someone shows right intent and come all the way to help. Appreciate that.

One of the things I love about Bristol is that a good independent sport store like this can survive. Stock holding is completely different to the national chain brands. On this visit we found a great range of basketballs we would be unlikely to find elsewhere.
