BRETTINGTON'S STEAK AND LOBSTER HOUSE REVIEWS

Incredible food! We drove 45 minutes to visit the restaurant for my birthday and we were not disappointed! If you love steak then you have to visit. Their tomahawk was 10/10. Service was also incredible thanks to Klodian! He helped us pick and gave some really great advice on everything from the menu. Even the way you are greeted at the door is warm and welcoming. Would most certainly be back.

Went here for a date night and had a great time. The food was amazing and the drinks were more than affordable. The staff gave great service, we’ll definitely be coming back. The Confit Pork Belly and the Lobster Thermador were the stars of the show. The Thai Prawns were cooked perfectly.

Visited for dinner on Saturday night. Food was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We opted for three courses and each course did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend and will be returning for a meal soon.

The BEST roast dinner I’ve had in a long time!! Had the chicken and beef for the 2 meat roast and it did not disappoint!! The restaurant had a really cozy vibe to it that feels like a traditional pub and still feels clean and warm. The staff were brilliant! Quick service and very helpful. Had 2 roast dinners with 2 meats, a drink each and 3 scoops of ice cream which came to around £80. With what you’re getting and what it tastes like the food is definitely worth the price! Parking is tricky! Depending on when you go, I had to park down a side road and walk but the weather was nice for the walk. Definitely recommend this place.

We visited here a few years ago and have wanted to go back ever since! We decided to treat ourselves for valentines day and were not disappointed. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing.

Wow what an awesome food joint! Went with friends and we all had something different, roasts, burger and pie and all were delicious!!! We all said we will return to try more of the menu.

Wow just found this place after a walk around the castle. Had a ‘light’ lunch. Superb. Great friendly and helpful staff. Thank you. Baked meat sandwich and a spinach & cheese omelette.

Loved this place, great hidden gem if you're not from the area, but 100% worth a visit, great for kids as well. Can't wait to come back.

First visit, a Thursday evening / loved it. If your Gluten free, you will find something on the menu. Ask and talk to the server. Will definitely go again. I will definitely go back - even with an automated service charge applied.
