THE BUTCHER’S BLOCK REVIEWS
This is a little gem of a place. Was recommended by a friend and would definitely recommend it myself. Tucked away in a village did not expect to see it there. The views were amazing. The food was 10 out of 10. Will return even if it's for the cherry rice pudding!! The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The owners were really friendly and wish them luck with their new venture.
We had a lovely meal at The Butcher's Block. My wife had the roast beef and it was incredible, plenty of food and a nice selection of vegetables too. My son and I had the fillet steaks and they were full of flavour and nicely cooked. A great selection of wines and lovely, friendly staff.
Had a really delicious meal here Saturday lunch time. Food was delicious and big portions. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for more.

BEEFEATER THE WOODLANDS REVIEWS
This place was something else from the moment I walked in to the moment I left I was absolutely taken back with the service, food, mood and atmosphere. Bobby Jay served me and was amazing with the service throughout which always makes the extra difference and that little bit special too. All staff were very friendly and smiling. The place seemed busy and customers seemed pleased too. Has to be the best mac and cheese I have ever had and I'm a big fan, cheesy chips were very delicious and to top it off the churros kit kat were spot on.
Had my birthday in the 26th of May at Beefeater Woodlands in Gravesend. The food was lovely and fresh. Cleanliness and staff and our severe was lovely and friendly. I had the Surf and Turf and apple pie with ice cream. Loved it. Thank you staff and Beefeater Woodlands.
Visited lunchtime on 30th August. Had heard mixed reviews re food and service, but we were pleasantly surprised. Waitress Bobbi-ja was very helpful and attentive. Food served in good time and was well presented and tasty. Had main, dessert and coffees. The only negative is the decor, needs another refresh.
