3 Best Steak Restaurants in Stoke On Trent, UK

Visited for the first time earlier this week on the ‘Burger and a drink deal’. I think it was £12.95 for any burger on the menu plus a drink. Portion sizes massive (we couldn’t finish our meals)! Prices very reasonable. Food cooked to perfection. Would recommend for a nice ‘pub dinner’. My only comment would be that the staff were dressed very casually and there was a casual vibe to the place on a Tuesday evening - if this is the aim then that’s perfect but I think the decor and quality of the food suggest a slightly more upmarket vibe. I do think once they have more staff etc that table service would be nice instead of having to order at the bar.

A massive thank you to Emma, Paul and all the staff for making our Retirement Party so special last night (20th July 24) The food was fantastic (Paul's curry tasted amazing). The atmosphere was great and Emma, Paul and all the. staff couldn't do enough for us to make our night perfect. We would 100% recommend holding that special party at the Saracens Head you won't be disappointed.

Called in for tea. Few people outside eating and drinking in the sunshine. Lounge looked lovely. Nicely decorated. Not many in the lounge eating but the bar seemed quite busy. Only 6pm. Food and drink ordered at the bar. Staff very pleasant. Nice pint too. Food was lovely. Salad with the Lasagne very well presented.

Visiting friends in the area we came for a late lunch early dinner, making the table order quite all over the road. The atmosphere is upscale yet casual. We had quite the varied starters. The tempura cauliflower was quite a hit as were the fish cakes. My lunch was an extremely filling, flavoured cesar salad. For me a good sign is generously portioned anchovies in the salad itself. I may have been on a bit of a fish mood .. my salad was topped with a gorgeous sea bass. My friends chicken squer was a hit. As was the fish and chips. The fish was sea bass, and once again it comes down to the batter. The kitchen must be using some mysterious magical potion... It was crunch yet delicate. Flavoured... But not so as to detract from the fish. My friends sandwich was quite filling as well. He said the flavours went well together. Meanwhile the service was with a smile and friendly. Overall a wonderful meal.

I highly recommend the Orange Tree! Their care and attention to detail are apparent from the onset. One of the first things our server asked was if anyone had any food allergies. There were 7 in our group and every dish we ordered was enjoyed. The decor and ambience were lovely. It's a very peaceful place to eat. Their special cocktail list was quite unique and we ordered 3 different drinks from that menu, plus a special request cocktail. All were really nice. We went to have a celebration dinner for our daughter on her university graduation. The Orange Tree allowed us to bring a cake earlier that day so as to surprise our graduate after our meal. The main I ordered had cheese in ragu sauce with pine nuts. It was very tasty. Try the Orange Tree Bar and Grill. You'll be glad you did. We certainly were.

had a lovely meal here with my partner, food was amazing and definitely worth the money, they also had a wide range of cocktails which were lush. staff were super friendly and the vibe was great. would definitely recommend dining here.
