MAKISU SUSHI BAR REVIEWS

This is some of the best Japanese food in Bournemouth! I have both eaten in and had take-away from this restaurant and both times have been excellent. I would especially recommend the salt and pepper squid, as it is the best I have ever had. It was so tender, fresh, and perfectly seasoned, absolutely delicious. Their sushi is also very good, they use lots of fresh fish, and each dish is beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be eating here again!

The best Sushi in Bournemouth by a long shot. I’m vegan & have a lot of allergies and they are always so accommodating to this. Great vegan & non-vegan options. My personal favourites are the Cucumber & Mango Maki and the Yakisoba Tofu Noodles. The most lovely owners. 10/10.

Really friendly staff and lovely food. We have been in here a couple of times now. Explained that we were new to sushi and they took the time to explain to us what the dishes were. Lovely complimentary prawn crackers with sauce whilst waiting. Trying the chicken katsu tonight. They were even kind enough to go slightly off menu with noodles instead or rice. We really appreciated that thank you!

Ordered here for the first time this evening - loved it! The service was great, the owners are lovely and the sushi was AMAZING! So fresh and flavourful and authentic! Great value and portion sizes. A must-try! Looking forward to our next visit Thank you More Than Sushi.

Ordered for collection; the sushi was simply delicious. Very fresh, and tasted phenomenal. Really friendly owners; enjoyed talking to them whilst waiting for the final preparation to the order. The mango sparkling drink is amazing so I’m keen to try all the others. 10/10.

We just ordered and I couldn’t even wait to leave a review. The food was piping hot and so fresh! The Teriyaki Salmon roll is 10/10 Can’t wait to order again! So yummy.

I highly recommend this restaurant and take away to everyone, as their food is very tasty and affordable, and their staff members are approachable, kind, polite, and hard-working. I am a regular customer here, as I always enjoy coming here. The environment, in general, is very pleasant.

Really amazing place, staff are so friendly and helpful. We each had a large pot, which are very generous in size. Food was soo good, highly recommend. The hours have also been corrected on Google as they are open to 8pm on a Sunday.

We had our first takeaway Kokoro tonight and I have to say for the amount of food that we ordered was really fair on price. We ordered for 2 people and we could have fed 6! Food tasted great as well.
