Just got a taxi from the Stena Line terminal to the train station and the service couldn’t have been better! Michael was my taxi driver and he was very helpful and accommodating. I’m very glad that he knew the best place in Stranraer to get some fish and chips!

I have been using McLean taxes for the past 30 years.there where little problems that where easily sorted out in the past however that has changed.i had booked the taxi to pick up kitten after surgery the driver was to wait then drive us home but unfortunately the vet was running a few minutes behind the driver came in shouting at me demanding I aid him (you pay me you pay me right now) his words while shoving 2 phones in my face he was so angry I honestly thought he was going to hit me he would then walk away come back to shout more I agree to a price as I went to open Zimmer I had my bag in it which he knew he started again saying he had been waiting to pick me up I was outside waiting then the drive according to him is more waiting me getting out waiting him waiting again I finally snapped shouting what is it you want from me mate he then walked out that's when the vet called me in asking if I was ok after going through all that I burst into tears the first amount he demanded I said no that's when he said a second price I said to vet yes we all could hear and see everything that happened.i didn't know what to do to be honest I tried phoning McLean to explain but I couldn't hear all I did hear was did you pay him no I replied the call ended.once I got home took care off kitten.i phone them to explain why I never got the chance to pay I couldn't get a word in she was telling me she wasn't going to listen to any of my excuses he told her he came back in to reason with me lol I was in with the vet at that time a camera doesn't lie I don't lie either all that carry on when he was in a right mood when he picked me up but whatever problem he may of had there was in no way right to take his anger out on me and to lie .the woman told me I can't just book taxes here and there without paying for them as if I had done this before absolutely not she then black listed me for no payment 30 years I paid I tipped how we could not come to a arrangement for paying is behond me .I phoned the police because off all I was put through I still can't believe it has happened.i will not ever recommend them as I have done .they couldn't care less about there customers sadly to say but that has been made clear it's money they want nothing else.Other drivers couldn't be nicer as they all know me some who don't are also hard working men but they don't lie either.i won't say all are bad when they are not it's a few of them that is the problem therefore if you want to take the chance to see what one you will get I just hope you get a good honest man. - Michelle Jordan Reply

Taxi home with the kids.... unfortunately didn't get driver's name, but he was hilarious and very interactive. Such a refreshing change, kids were in stiches.

Fantastic got me there in perfect time and helped put a smile on my wee girls face in the hospital.
