This is my second interaction / purchase from Upholstery Designs. In 2019, prior to a hip operation, I purchased my black leather riser recliner chair which has been extremely comfortable and I am still grateful for it every day. Unfortunately, this year, a hair clasp damaged one of the chair cushions and so I contacted Upholstery Designs to see if they might be able to make me a replacement cushion. I was amazed to find myself speaking to Donna, who remembered serving me in 2019! What a lovely lady she is, helpful, professional, and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She is extremely thorough and in no time at all, after the exchange of a few emails, my leather was matched with the supplier's stock and my order was in place. I'm thrilled with my updated chair and most grateful to Donna and her team of suppliers. I have no hesitation in recommending Upholstery Designs. It's so good to receive first rate customer service these days.

Having visited the showroom and chosen a 3 piece suite we were unsure whether the settee would fit through the entrance door. They offered a visit to check and a few days later they came and confirmed it would be OK. We ordered and although we were given 6 to 8 weeks delivery it arrived in about 4 weeks and 2 weeks later after we had a new carpet fitted it was delivered. The 2 men delivered the furniture with great care and placed the furniture where we wanted and placed the cushions and arm covers on. From the sales staff to delivery men the service was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending this company for your furniture needs. Thank you. Keith & Pat Leadbeater.

Absolutely love our new sofa and chair. So helpful when we visited and the home visit to make sure we could get the sofa and chair in gave us piece of mind. Would definitely recommend. This is the 2nd sofa we have had from here.

Left our very sad leather seat cushion covers with Hawthorne Upholstery, they refilled them and we got them back about a week later. It's now as if we've just bought a new suite. Great job. Thank you Philip and particularly Rob.

Our sofa arrived back today in less than a week. It is a huge 3 seater over 20 years old. It looks stunning and like new. Thank you so much for your skill and care of this beloved piece of furniture. Its beautiful.

Polite and helpful service, giving useful information that enabled me to make a decision. Nothing was too much trouble and they allowed me to sit in the chairs, not just to test them but because I am disabled. My chosen chair was delivered within 2 hours, probably less, I wasn't checking. It was brought into my house carefully, respecting my new chair and my other furniture. Then the family-business upholsterer checked my old chair and gave me advice on mending it. I met three members of this family business and each was as helpful and friendly as the other. I've used this firm before, many years ago and they are as helpful, friendly and efficient as ever. Thank you.

Very straightforward to deal with in a shop that illustrates all the very best of being a local, small, family run business. The chair was delivered several weeks earlier than expected including taking it up a flight of stairs with no fuss whatsoever. Great people, lovely to deal with!
