BRIDLINGTON ACUPUNCTURE REVIEWS

Having had prolonged plantar fasciitis which didn't settle with the help and advice of physiotherapy and podiatry as well as insoles, I decided to think laterally. Rather than over-rely on painkillers, I made an appointment with Bridlington Acupuncture to see what benefits I could get. The owner, Gary Carvill is a patient focussed, professional practitioner who listens and plans research based care accordingly. Precise and regular treatment on six occasions over a period of weeks fully dealt with the pain that had been plaguing me daily for over 6 months. It helped that I belong to a contributory healthcare scheme that assists with the cost of the sessions. I would very much recommend people with health issues to consider acupuncture. I was unsure whether it would help me but feel so very glad that I embarked on treatment. Gary is relaxed and respectful. His patients really appreciate his friendly manner and ability to accommodate a course of care to a successful conclusion. I highly recommend Bridlington Acupuncture!

Gary has vast experience in acupuncture and provides outstanding care and due diligence to accurately ‘pin point’ exactly where your issues are. He is professional, caring and extremely thorough. I always recommend Bridlington Acupuncture to anyone having issues and is very worth while travelling for.

I have received a number of treatments on both knees over the last few months. Before I started treatment my average pain score was around 8 to 10 and I regularly ended the day in tears. Now I would put the average pain at around 4 and this has really benefitted my physical and mental health. Gary is very friendly and puts you at ease and has provided good advice.

I went to see Helen as I was suffering with pain in my back and hips. I had had several sessions with my osteopath which had helped initially but a friend suggested I give acupuncture a try. Helen immediately diagnosed the problem as a tightened psoas muscle which was as a result of the enormous stress I had been under for some time. I had several sessions with Helen and not only did the acupuncture help to ease my pain but the advice around stretches and exercise and her lovely, calm and friendly manner have helped me to be more proactive in managing my stress and pain. If anyone is considering trying acupuncture then Helen is definitely the person you should contact.

Massively helpful in the general advice she gives with her years of NHS experience that alone has been invaluable. After years of pain with stenosis and disc bulge I am finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Even with a minor fear of needles Helen made the experience pleasant and now 6-7 sessions in I look forward to each fortnightly session. Made such a difference to my back health and highly recommend to anyone thats considering this method of pain relief. Great set up, friendly and a fountain of knowledge.

Helen has helped me manage my knee pain due to osteoarthritis and offered suggestions for other things I could try to complement her treatment. After the first treatment I was able to move more easily with less pain. She is friendly and reassuring and I recommend her wholeheartedly.
