CALM Acupuncture is so named for good reasons, a) they know how to do calm and b) they know how to do acupuncture & acupressure. I have been a client at this multi-bed clinic in the heart of the city (and in a wheelchair-accessible location, note) for a number of years and I can honestly say that they've been saving my life. Competence in their fields and compassion in their approach to their clients/patients, I never hesitate to recommend them to others. CALM acupuncture has been integral to my well-being, helping me to cope with my long COVID symptoms, and my menstrual health. Even the low-cost treatment is tailored specifically for each person, and much time is taken for the correct treatment to be given. Even the communal space feels safe, 'CALM' (lol) and welcoming. All the therapists are brilliant and really get to the bottom of the problems and treat the whole body and not the problem areas. They are very kind and considerate and very thorough. I love my acupuncture sessions and I find that it really works for me.

I’ve had scoliosis for the last 20 years. Although the curves in my back never bothered me too much, I started to develop severe pain. I’ve been coming to Charles for several months now and through treatments such as acupuncture, massage and skeletal adjustments I see the difference in my back. The curves in my back are much less visible and the pain that was caused by scoliosis is gone. In addition, because I was a regular customer Charles gave me a discount which made it possible to get the treatment every week. I’m very impressed with the professional treatment I’ve received and would recommend Charles to anybody with postural/back issues or scoliosis. He really knows what he is doing.

Highly recommend Charles. As a massage therapist having a bad back doesn't go with my role of helping others. I was convinced my time was nearing the end until Charles put me back together. So grateful to find a knowledgeable experienced person who is also willing to share this. A true teacher. Anyone who is in pain should invest in your health and wellbeing as a priority. If I'd of left this and taken time to go the free route, it would of taken a long time and been costly longer term. Been suffering with back problems for a long time but just got on with as most ppl do brushing it under the carpet until recently iv been in absloute agony to the point of even taking a deep breath was agonising, I visited my doctors where I was referred to physio at my local hospital 2 appointments in with not much luck at all and no treatment done, I decided to ring dacerlands clinic as the pain was just unbareable, and I couldn't carry on anymore i spoke to Charles at dacerlands and he got me a late appointment that evening to been seen even tho it was very late on, I went and wow iv been absolutely amazed and speechless with his treatments he gave tonight ,straight away I felt better and at ease and also most pain free I could breath without it causing me pain, iv now to wait 24 to 48 hours to feel the full benefit but I honestly cannot rave enough about Charles amazing work and making me feel at ease and I will 100percent be returning to him at his clinic, so please if any1 is in agony don't hesitate to go and see him because trust me you will not be disappointed one bit a true amazing man who knows his stuff he really is the best!
