NATURE IN ART REVIEWS

Wheelchair accessible. There's a smallish lift to the second floor - my Trekinetic powerchair fit (I pushed in the footplate and we put the chair in the upright position). Two galleries on the ground floor, a gift shop, loos including an accessible loo (a small steep slope to access these) and the cafe. They had GF cake (prepacked). Wheelchair access to the garden. Wheelchair access to the separate building where there is often an additional exhibition (and where they hold workshops). There's also wheelchair access to the artist in residence's studio. We went for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, which was great.

A lovely visit to one of the most beautiful collections of nature based artwork I have ever seen, you can't take photos inside the building but can outside. Worth every penny. We also ate in the cafe and it was delicious.

A small gallery in a beautiful rural location (albeit just off the A38), and within a privately owned "stately home". It has a small cafe on site. Definitely worth a visit.

MUSEUM OF GLOUCESTER REVIEWS

Lovely helpful staff, amazing roman ruins and artefacts, plenty of activities and fun for the kids and just an all round great museum. Managed to buy a mosasaur tooth fossil and a stunning ammoninite fossil among other similar bits for the kids, all for a few pounds each and readily available in the gift area.

Some really interesting things to look at, and a nice natural history section. Some things I had never seen before so they absolutely fascinated me, like the dolphin skull, and the hippopotamus tooth. A great little museum.

Not a big museum, but well presented with nice relevance to Gloucester. Friendly staff and lots of hands on exhibits for kids.

An amazing selection of products made locally by crafts people. Friendly, knowledgable staff who are crafters themselves.

Lovely selection of locally made items by local crafts people. Perfect for gifts at Christmas, birthdays, weddings etc.

Excellent place to see and obtain local artisanal items as well as art pieces.
