“2025 Update: Woburn Mosaic is a concept of a contemporary art gallery with a difference, created and set up by Johann Bester and John Cowlishaw in the centre of the beautiful Georgian village of Woburn in Bedfordshire. Their customers have the opportunity to enjoy a drink and even a light lunch from midday in their beautiful garden or lounge area. The gallery and lounge bar has a full license and serves drinks and light lunches from midday. The gallery features established artists from both local and international backgrounds.”

MK GALLERY REVIEWS

Always a wonderful experience visting MK Gallery, we are so lucky to have the world class exhibition space and all of the incredible art shown here, right on our doorstep. The staff (often volunteers) are very friendly and welcoming and really knowledgeable. MK residents get to see the exhibitions free on a Tuesday (don’t forget address ID), you can book easily online and the shopping centre parking is very close by. The gallery are committed to being accessible to all and whilst there are levels if you want to use the attendant (and excellent) cinema and event spaces, there is a lift, plenty of space to manoeuvre and help on hand if you want it. The cafe is fantastic with options for vegans and gf. I love the coffee, it’s delicious! The new coffee cups are absolutely beautiful too. We come here often and have never been disappointed. I recommend the gallery to everyone. Let’s use and support this resource to ensure we don’t lose it.

Had a lovely time at the MK Calling 2024 exhibition. I appreciate the way the gallery collaborates with local organisations like MK Snap and Q:alliance to identify and showcase diverse local talent.

Visited the gallery for a film screening of Dune 2, the unique setting of the screen next to the big circular windows in the evening made the experience very atmospheric.

I love that they release new artwork weekly—there's always something exciting to see.

Every visit to Castle Galleries is a delight. The close-up presentations of the artworks are so well done, allowing me to appreciate the details. The staff are always friendly and eager to help. I recently bought a sculpture, and the whole process was seamless. Highly recommend checking out their gift vouchers—perfect for art lovers.

This place is my go-to spot for unique art. The staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable, making the experience enjoyable. I love their variety of artwork and the option for interest-free credit is a huge plus! Plus, they host fantastic events that really connect the community through art. WOBURN MOSAIC REVIEWS

Hidden gem ???? Absolutely loved our visit to Woburn Mosaic last night, a stunning gallery and beautiful lounge garden that’s been really well designed and thought through with the cold nights and dining outside (thanks for the hot water bottles and blankets!). The platters were so tasty, great selection of drinks and service was impeccable, even got to try a few new cheeses that were delicious.

Had my first visit here today and I really loved the gallery and the cute courtyard. I ended up purchasing a hand-blown glass vase which I’m sure will look lovely in the right place of my home.

Amazing experience. Love the art , the quirky decor of the venue and the concept of browse and have a drink! Highly recommend . Great hosts also. Good luck Johann and John
