Newport Museum is a small Museum but it is a lovely trip. I have been on my own, I have been with family and I have been with friends. I have been here many times and I always have a pleasant experience. They provide a good mix of local history, general Welsh and world history. My favourite part of the Museum is the rooms that show the following:- an old fashioned Dentist Surgery, an old fashioned pub, an old fashioned school room and an old fashioned kitchen which provide an interesting.

Attended this interesting Arts House yesterday for the first time and genuinely overwhelmed by the beauty of the place. An eclectic mix of pictures adorn the walls, leather sofas provide luxury to lounge in and take in the ambience. The Pumpkin and Lentil soup with brown crusty bread was nourishing on a cold day. Hot Chocolate made with warm milk and a flaky chocolate top hit the spot. Janet the owner gave me a tour and was very welcoming and convivial. Strongly Recommended.
