“Ford House Farm is run by the owners, Val and Gerry. This ample Victorian farmhouse B&B is set in the green belt with stunning views down the Aire Valley. Absolutely the best place I have ever stayed! Brilliant house full of character. The host teaches voluntary in Africa and has furnished the whole house with an African vibe. Full of colour and interesting pictures on the walls of her students, a totally interesting place to stay. This is better than any hotel rooms with their normal boring usual furnishings. Thanks Irene for a completely different experience. I will definitely becoming back!

Absolutely everything about my 2 nights stay was perfect! Rooms quirkily and perfectly appointed, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen at your disposal. Host Irene was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for her. It was home from home and I would heartily recommend staying here!! I will certainly be back!! BRILLIANT!!

It was a beautiful place in a beautiful location. Perfect for a wedding we were going to at the old barn. Val and Gerry made sure we were welcomed and well looked after. Lots of advice and tips for where to go for food and walks in the area. The room was HUGE and very comfortable, had all the amenities we needed, the views were stunning too. Great choice for breakfast and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Just wish we could have stayed longer to make more of this beautiful place. Thanks so much for looking after us! Sophie and Dave.

Every time i visit there, i/ we enjoy the beautiful surroundings even more. Val & Gerry perfect hosts Breakfast superb, Barbara always delivers breakfast with a smile . Carnt wait to rebook.

Possibly the best BnB I've ever stayed in. Location, rooms and breakfast were all second to none. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Val is an amazing host.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The place is extremely clean and well looked after, and the staff are absolutely amazing. A special thank you to Alex for her outstanding service — she was so friendly, professional, and made me feel very welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Painless stay and incredibly friendly staff. Comfortable rooms and great to use a family room for a group of three friends getting separate beds. Only gripe is car parking but used the railway station car park for a few quid overnight.

Thank you so much to the amazing staff, particularly Alex who made us so welcoming and looked after us throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently located to the city centre and the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. I would highly recommend, and we look forward to returning in the near future.
