I had problems with my bike not engaging gears , looked at reviews and mostly good but a few complained on pricing. I phoned the shop and asked for a rough price and was told around£20/£25 but they had a lot of work in and I,d have to leave it for up to 10 days. I took it in and the shop was busy ,when I got to the counter the man ( I,m sorry I didn't get his name but he should answer to Star ) came out and spent ten minutes adjusting and sorted the problem ,when I asked how much I owed he told me nothing. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company 100%.

Went in looking to get something for the road a bit lighter than my current mountain bike. Dan talked me through all the options and the pros and cons of each. Ended up going with the cube SL road and couldn’t be happier. All the staff were so helpful and patient with me asking a million questions. Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much. A very happy cycling girl.

Fantastic service as usual. Full frame, bottom bracket and wheel bearing removal and replacement. Very fast, professional and friendly service. Bike feels brand new. Wouldn't trust with anyone else.

Superb experience buying 2 bikes from Wheelbase in Stockton. Paul runs an excellent bike store ensuring all his guys are there to help with great knowledge but no pressure at all. They worked with me all the way and made these purchases as easy as they could. I'd definitely go back. Thanks Paul and his lads.

Really friendly staff I didn’t receive a txt msg to say the bike was ready to pick up as the mechanic had been away and so they sent me a email and offered to deliver it free of charge so a lovely man named Paul delivered it I would definitely buy from them again.

Everything was very competitively priced . It was a well stocked and laid out shop but above all the staff were very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make the experience of buying a bike that much more enjoyable. Can’t recommend Wheelbase at Stockton enough.

Tony is sound as a pound. I am going to get a few more bits for my bike and go back next week so he can fix them on for me. Why go and pay Halford prices when this fella is in Stockton ????And that fella who is crying because he got charged £20 for 15 mins work, please give your head a shake. If the job was that easy you would of done it yourself. I bet your solicitor who isn't on £80 an hour couldn't fix the gears either. It would of cost you a lot more than £20 in Halford. Some people eh.

Came to get a new stem for my bike Was really friendly and helpful, finished up nice and quickly. Hell of a lot cheaper than going to Halfords!.

Great service, great prices, couldn't rate these guys highly enough. Try here first if you need any repair- miles miles cheaper than Halfords etc. Had a good range of bikes for all ages every time I've been. Spot on.
