“Kookie Kennels is situated on 11 acres of privately owned pasture land in the peaceful countryside. The company is fully licensed and insured. The company is run by dog lovers for dog lovers. They are licensed by Renfrewshire Council and are fully insured. Kookie Kennels is a modern, purpose-built establishment. Each of their kennels comprises a cosy bed area and a spacious individual inside run. All dogs are exercised individually in their safe and secure outdoor paddock. They provide vet bedding and raised beds as required. If you wish to bring your own bedding, you can discuss this with them at the time of booking. RIVERSIDE KENNELS REVIEWS

Put our two cocker spaniels in for 10 days and they were looked after so well even ensuring ongoing medication for one of them was given on a daily basis. Steven who we dealt with, is obviously very caring and obliging and a real credit to the kennels which are kept spotlessly clean. They both looked so well when we collected them and I would not hesitate to board them here again.

Excellent indoor kennels, dogs are very well cared for and they get let out into a safe, secure space. Our dog, Duke, came home a very happy and healthy boy. Amazing service and communication from the staff, they really know what they are doing when it comes to the individual dogs, their individual personalities and needs. Couldn't ask for anything more!

The spaniels love it here. Staff are super kind and lovely. The girls are always happy to go here to stay when I can't take them with me or parents aren't able to look after them.

My little baby stayed with Carolyn for a few days and it was by far the best experience I’ve ever had! I received constant updates, loads of photos, and it was so clear she was absolutely pampered the entire time with lots of love and walks. I couldn’t recommend Carolyn more – I’m so grateful for how easy and stress-free the whole process was, especially considering it was a last-minute booking. Isla will definitely be staying with Carolyn again! ???? thank you xx

I can’t express how delighted we were with this service. Chris and Justine looked after our dog, Winston, while we were away on holiday for 11 nights. They kept us updated with pictures and funny stories throughout his stay and it really gave us peace of mind that he was being well looked after while we were away. Thank you so much for everything, I’d give you 10 stars if I could.

Been using Madeline for quite a while now. Always very friendly and helpful. Gary was also great with the girls. Would definitely recommend.

Our rescue dog Oscar (a Doberman) was going into kennels for the first time since only being with us for 2 years. He didn’t take to life in rescue centres before having had multiple owners, had lost half his body weight and was very wary of humans. We were very nervous how he would be. Can’t say enough how professional and helpful Lesley was when making the booking. Totally interested in Oscar and such a great manner. Picked him up after 2 weeks holiday and he was great. Lesley and John both were brilliant. We know Oscar was looked after as it looked like he didn’t want to leave! Would have no hesitation in leaving him at Kookie Kennels in the future. Would just like to say a huge thank to Lesley and John, it’s obvious they are animal lovers, they take a personal interest in your pet which is so reassuring. First class service.

Our dog, Dennis, spent 9 nights with John and Lesley earlier this month. I can't speak highly enough of the kennels that they own and run. He's not the easiest character around other dogs and was still having to take it easy after having cruciate ligament surgery. Lesley and John took time to think about what would work best for him while he was there and we could go on holiday without worrying! He came out a very happy boy and will be a regular visitor in the future!

Put my dog in here for 20 days while we were on holiday. Love Kennels, very nice people and Sam (the dog) seemed very content. Will definitely use the kennels again and highly recommend this kennel.
