I was totally unaware of the observatory until my wife took me there a few years ago. I have always been fascinated by space and history, two subjects that this unique place deals with. The history of the observatory is fascinating, the stories that this building has been a part of are incredible. For example the coats observatory is one of the only recording stations that recorded the San Francisco earthquake of 1906. This is a unique place to bring kids and adults alike. It's free.

Took my boy to the Brick history (lego) exhibition, The exhibition was in the old Bruce Street Baths, What a fantastic use of the space, the old pool has been boarded over and the room is now used as an exhibition space. (Who ever thought of this deserves a pat on the back). Its great to see them utilising the Old Baths, as Clydebank has lost so much of its architectural History, this is one way of keeping the Old Clydebank alive. The exhibition by Warren Elsmore the Lego Brick Artist.
