Here’s The Deal:
Paisley Thread Mill Museum is one of the leading visitor attractions in Renfrewshire. The museum tells the history of Paisley's thread mill heritage. After 1722, the beginnings of the thread industry began to emerge. The industry was thriving, and in the 20th century, more than 10,000 people were working in the large mill complexes in Ferguslie and Seedhill. The Old Paisley Society then started to collect artefacts, mill photos, and other memorabilia to remember the thread industry. The collected artefacts and photos formed the Paisley Thread Mill Museum, which is now a well-known tourist destination. The museum provides free admission to visitors. Car parking facilities are available here. They also have a cafe downstairs.
