Paisley Thread Mill Museum tells the history of paisley's thread mill heritage. After 17222, the beginnings of the thread industry started to appear. The industry was thriving, and in the 20th century, more than 10,000 people were working in the huge mill complexes in Ferguslie and Seedhill. To remember the thread industry, the Old Paisley Society then started to collect artefacts, mill photos and other memorabilia. The collected artefacts and phots formed the Paisley Thread Mill Museum. At present, it was a famous tourist destination. You can visit the museum with free tickets."

Weaver’s Cottage is a museum located in Johnstone. It beautifully recreates a traditional handloom weaver's living and working circumstances. The weavers are experienced in producing tartan on a 200-year-old loom. Museum has low ceiling beams with period furniture to provide a view into life before the Industrial Revolution. Weaver’s Cottage also has an impressive garden where along with a wide variety of cottage garden plants. You can explore the weaver life and working and enjoy the garden with free admission."

Clydebank Museum is located in Clydebank Town Hall. It was opened to the public in 1980. At the early days, the museum is managed by the volunteers from the local communities. After the years of development, the museum has become the part of Clydebank District Libraries. At present Clydebank Museum is centred within the Arts and Heritage Team of West Dunbartonshire Libraries and Cultural Services. It has a gallery which has the collections from the year 1850, early 1980, and Singer sewing machines1980. The galleries in the museum are recognized as the national significance. Clydebank Museum offers free admission to explore history."
