I came to this Toby carvery for the first time, I was in a group of 5. Food was disappointing to say the least as half of what my party wanted was unavailable and we were met with rude chefs when we questioned it. On top of that there was an argument between a female carver and another chef which completely ruined the atmosphere for me and my family. However, I was served by a lovely waitress Demi, we had wonderful customer service from her and she was very friendly and apologetic of things that weren’t her mistakes. She made sure we always had drinks and were overall enjoying our time. Which allowed us to leave happier than we would have if we were met with a negative server.

Fantastic carvery. Booked a table for 7 pm, got there a bit early, and the staff were super friendly, and we're able to accommodate us earlier. Great range of food. The meats were great choices and cooked to perfection. The amounts of varying veg available were fantastic, and the gravy was as usual top notch (my fave part). Thank you to all the staff for providing fantastic service.

Had a great experience here. We requested a quieter space and they were able to accommodate us. I ordered off the menu, wanted a Turkey Club sandwich in the Yorkshire pudding wrap, but they had run out. Luckily the chef said he could make it for me in two smaller sandwiches, which was amazing and I really appreciated them finding a solution for me.

THE STANSFIELD ARMS REVIEWS

We had a family meal on Sunday which consisted of 9 people, one a toddler. The table was in the right part of the pub to allow the little one to have some room. Service was excellent although we had to wait quite a while for our food to arrive. Two people had the Sunday roast and said it was excellent. My turbot was well cooked and the smashed potatoes really tasty. Nice atmosphere and nice surroundings, will be back sometime.

Thank you to the Stansfield Arms for making out pre-wedding celebrations so special. But special thank you goes out to Matt from the Bingley Restaurant, who catered to our every whim. Meal was hot and very reasonably priced, the atmosphere was excellent. We were allowed to decorate our own area with balloons and decorations and nothing was too much effort for the staff. Was also great for the Coeliacs in the family to be able to eat with confidence, because this restaurant takes allergens seriously. Would highly recommend the Stansfield Arms.

We went as a group of old friends and had dinner. They have options to suit everyone's taste. Hosts were very courteous and polite. Portion of food is quite generous. The portion of chips they serve with mains is fresh and delicious. The only catch is that you need to book a table in advance.
