WATER MILL BREWERS FAYRE REVIEWS

Went to the watermill a couple of days ago with my mum. Lovely staff members are polite and friendly and very welcoming as always. I had the big stacker burger, which was very nice. My mum had the fish and chips she said was cooked perfect. We come from Leeds but alway come here for food when over in Halifax, it's a lovely place to sit outside on a nice day and watch and activity's going on on the canal. Also a little play area for the kids to play on too.

Fabulous visit for Fathers Day. Staff could not have been more helpful. From making the initial booking for a large group to wishing us well as we left. The food was hot, fresh and plentiful. The restaurant was full due to the occasion of the day and yet the service and atmosphere remained at a level I would expect. All round a fantastic time was had by all and we will return.

We come here every Sunday for carvery's and always feel welcomed and appreciated! Steven and Alisha find a way to make the day special each time, legends! Big up the Brewers Fayre massive!

Whether you're in for a hearty lunch or an evening pub dinner, the food at Long Can Hall consistently impresses with its taste and value for money, don't forget the madri Friday for £3 a pint!

A lovely place with a beautiful setting. We came here for Fathers Day this year and the meal was absolutely incredible. The beef we had on our roast had been slow cooked for 12 hours and you could really tell because it just melted in your mouth! The staff are professional and friendly too, it’s a really welcoming setting and it’s got a real homely feel. We will definitely be back!

Eaten here three times in the last few months. Had fish and chips and the hot beef baguette. Thoroughly enjoyed all meals! The chunky chips that come with the fish are to die for! Everyone who ate enjoyed their meals. The prices are reasonable and the portions are hearty. We will be back!

Traditional pub with fantastic traditional grub, would be how I describe The Ivy House. Visited upon recommendation from a family friend for two birthdays. The food is banging!! The chips are the nicest I've tasted in decades! Everyone has left happy and full to the brim. Couldn't stomach dessert as the portions are very healthy. Would definitely recommend!

This is a proper family pub with food. Best Sunday carvery I've had, way better than Toby. Lovely beer garden with a view of the hills. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming too. They even remembered to put cheese on the chips that came with the burger meal for one of us.

Love this pub!! Me and my partner have been 3 times in the last week because of how much we loved it. Great food, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and the beer garden is just lovely on a summers day. We love it here!
