wow.! Let me start off by saying this was our first time visiting the shire horse for food ever . Weirdly we only live down the road. But the food was absolutely amazing . Ordered this beautiful belly pork and a chicken sandwich which both just melted in your mouth . The most delicious belly pork ever tasted even! The staff were so lovely and attentive . The young ladies there were so sweet. Thank you ! ( be aware some drink prices are listed and are quite pricey).

Stopped off here for dinner as part of a stopover on a long journey. Was with two younger kids. Nice pub. Well managed. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good range of food which we all enjoyed. Well kept cask ale. Really convenient for travellers with the proximity to the M6 and plenty of parking. Service was excellent throughout. Would definitely return.

Absolutely brilliant! Never been, despite living in Stafford for over 20 years, and we loved it. Great service from Jas and Tom, lovely atmosphere and the food was SO good. Especially the cottage pie croquettes, could eat them all day! Will definitely be going back again soon.

Another nice meal. Booked a table for four people on Saturday evening. Service from all the staff - bar, front of house, restaurant- was excellent . Food was amazing and portion sizes good. Not hurried throughout service despite the restaurant being full. Looking forward to the next visit.

What a fabulous experience we had. Were visiting area called to see if any availability. We arrived service was outstanding by everyone. Decor was beautiful well loved property. Food did not disappoint. If you are in the area highly recommend.

Quality food at reasonable price. Excellent service with friendly staff.

Visited for Lunch with my Mom. The Guy who looked after us was friendly, welcoming and gave a very good service in lovely surroundings! Both my Moms and My Meal were beautufull! We both cleared our Plates and even managed to find room for a really lovely Dessert too!!! All round Lunch was very enjoyable experience! Thank you very much.

Our first visit to Shropshire Inn was a lovely experience. The service and atmosphere were great and the food was amazing. We had the best steaks, cooked to perfection. Would highly recommended and will definitely return.

Great food with service to match. Nice country surroundings with ample car parking. Recommended.
