THE PICTURE HOUSE REVIEWS
What a fantastic building, thank you Wetherspoon for restoring and retaining our heritage. Beautiful features. Nice light and airy. The beer garden was spoilt by smokers using the no smoking areas. Had a pepperoni pizza which was very nice, great value as usual. Staff were nice and efficient. Building and tables looked clean.
My go to place to have breakfast in Stafford. I have tried the traditional English breakfast and miners benedict with blood pudding . It’s absolutely delicious. My wife orders the mushroom benedict which is a good option for vegetarians.
Surely one of the most unique pubs in UK. You can not find many old cinemas convened into pub so beautifully. Every time some comes to visit me in town I take them there with pride to have good pub food and good drinks. The place is kept normally very clean and tidy despite that some times it gets a little crowded.

THE SHIRE HORSE REVIEWS
Food and service were fantastic. I travel a lot for work and this was a truest lovely place. It’s nothing special to look at but a great selection of food on the menu and the staff were both friendly and professional whilst able to have a good laugh when the time came. I enjoyed myself so much I came back on the second night of my visit and was very pleasantly welcomed. Stacey was a fabulous host and the food was lovely. I hope to be back again at some point soon.
A Saturday afternoon lunch using Tesco vouchers to part pay for a nice meal. Table service includes drink orders, staff very friendly and helpful. Smothered chicken is really Hunters chicken. Good to have cod and not haddock like many places serve when you ask for fish n chips. Must remember to enter your vehicle registration on entry or a fine will be issued from carpark owners Beer was mainly lagers and IPAs would of preferred a more traditional ale but that’s just my preference.
I have eaten here a few times. The food is always good. Last time the service wasn't so good ...this time it was absolutely brilliant. The staff were both friendly and efficient. Glad I gave them another try. Will definitely be back.

THE KING'S HORSE REVIEWS
I am someone who doesn't usually go for a carvary due to finding them massively underwhelming. How ever after visiting Stafford hospital me and my wife went here for a treat after. It was simply delicious. The atmosphere was alive and every customer seemed happy. There was a lady who was serving the meat who was the most friendliest person I have ever met. She genuily was happy to serve people and the food was amazing. The food was hot and fresh, the meat was juicy and tender and the roasties were importantly very crispy. If we are ever in Stafford again we will surely be there. I must also add that this visit was a Sunday so extra points for amazing service on a manic day.
Brilliant. We had a early Xmas family meal here and it was brilliant. Good range of different foods for all ages and vegetarians. The children were entertained because it has a small soft play inside. I had the carvery, food was tasty, service was quick and price was good, place was clean and décor was normal pub décor. Overall very good.
Went for a carvery with family. Service was good especially from the lady on the carvery who let my son try some cauliflower cheese as she heard him say he wasn't sure if he liked it. She also cut a Yorkshire in half for him as they were huge. Food was hot and we all enjoyed it.
