THE IVY MARLOW GARDEN REVIEWS

The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful without being too intrusive. The menu had a wide selection of dishes and there was a special menu called the 1917 menu which featured a starter and main for 19 pounds 17. The food arrived in a reasonable time and was well cooked and well presented. The portion sizes were decent, no one in our party left hungry. Some of the dishes had a bit of theatre about them including the smoked salmon with oak smoke enclosed in the cover over the plate and some dry ice under white chocolate ice cream. I think they have struck a good balance between providing decent food and something a bit special without being pretentious. Overall, a very pleasant place to have a special meal and at a reasonable price, especially for Marlow.

Amazing food - I would give it 8 stars. Had the steak tartar for starters and for the main - the Sunday roast while the wife had a Shephards pie. Really loved the Sunday roast - as a visitor that was a first for me. Wife said the Shephards pie was out of this world. Bit crowded with tables literally an armpit away.

I had dinner in this restaurant during a business trip. The place is very nice, decorated in a very special way. In this restaurant I enjoyed the style of both the environment and the staff, a retro that frankly in Italy is very very difficult to find. Fish and chips good and very abundant (almost too much).

We came here for my husband's birthday and we have a lovely time. The food was delicious and the staff were very polite and friendly. Excellent service. I highly recommed coming here to have a meal. Thank you for a really nice afternoon, can't thank the wonderful staff enough. And the food portions are huge.

Had a lovely full buffet breakfast today, everything was freshly cooked and hot, the sausages were the best we've had recently! The morning staff Tash, Karen, James and Oscar were great, they are so friendly, made our visit with the kids so much fun! Thank you.

Great service and great value for money . The new manager has made our visit here very enjoyable even though we were with kids . Thank you Tash and the team for some delicious food and a great time.

We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch here today with family. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Food was fantastic and served promptly. The decor is outstanding. Lovely rustic beams and multi level dining areas. Definitely one of the most interesting and beautiful places I’ve had food before. All the Sunday lunches were delicious and desserts were top notch. Such an amazing pub. Came here with a large group for a Sunday roast and the staff were so kind and accommodating, plus the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this pub. Thank you for having us :) Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian and vegan options. The mushroom wellington roast was incredible.

Wonderful Easter lunch with the family. The staff work so hard - service is impeccable and the food is wonderful. Five stars across the board. Thank you for making every gathering a wonderful experience. Special thanks to Eva and Jack who are very accommodating to my elderly parents.
