I eat regularly here and it’s always very nice food. The last two times I have gone for the specials. Beef curry and rice last time and chicken and sweet potato curry today. Both delicious but not quite filling enough. The portion size was just the wrong side of enough. I’d happily pay £2 more for a bigger portion in order not have to be Oliver Twist (please sir, can I have some more) I saw that garlic bread was on the menu but didn’t spot naan, which would have bulked it out. Both were delicious though and so still 5 stars.

I came to Gannets for lunch with a friend today. We both had jacket potatoes which were lovely. The wait times to order and receive a drink were long but the wait for food wasn’t very long. The jacket potatoes came with a very interesting salad with different components to it such as rice, lettuce, and two different types of carrot. Overall, we enjoyed eating here. The cafe was very clean and staff were lovely. We both went back for a slice of cake out of their very yummy looking selection.

This friendly cafe and coffee shop in Newark-on-Trent is a great place for a cooked breakfast treat on a weekend. Have visited a couple of times with family and we all loved our breakfasts. Nice ambience too.

Fancied a good old cooked breakfast today and got just what we wanted! Fantastic service and the ‘Standard Breakfast’ was excellent quality and just the right amount of everything! Hard working, efficient staff and a great atmosphere. Thank you to all at Feeling Peckish, we shall we back! 5 Stars from us.

Fantastic breakfasts on offer. Our first time in Newark and I think we struck gold with our pick for food. My partner had the standard breakfast and I got the vegetarian breakfast. Perfect portion with friendly staff to boot. If we ever come back to Newark we'll be sure to drop in. Not far from Castle Station.

Brilliant cooked breakfast, friendly staff that went above and beyond. Whilst in Feeling Peckish, we witnessed the staff help an elderly lady call a clinic to see if her husband had left yet. Fantastic and an asset to the local area!

COSTA COFFEE NEWARK ON TRENT REVIEWS

From time to time I visit this Costa and mostly order hot chocolate. Costa's hot chocolate got unique taste. I tasted their seasonal hot beverage. Blackforest Hot Chocolate with Cream. Also recommend their aromatic flat white coffee and Gingerbread Latte with Cream. Soon it becomes like diary from my latest visits to Costa. So last time tasted well baked sandwich and hot chocolate.

Went in this morning for breakfast and when I ordered I let a member of staff know I am lactose intolerant Lucy couldn’t of been more helpful and made sure all equipment was sanitised and nothing was to Much trouble thank you again to all the staff they made My visit comfortable and enjoyable.

The food and drinks are always good. I really enjoy the salted caramel frappe’s. It’s a large store and it has a warm and cosy vibe. Toilets are decent. Service could be a little quicker but it’s a coffee shop so who really cares.
