BEEFEATER ROMAN WAY REVIEWS
Had Louise as our server very polite and helpful seemed very quite for a bank holiday Sunday but started to get busy when we was leaving our table was half 5, we went for unlimited refills you can help yourself but they are quick on getting fresh refills, we both went for the mixed grills the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and meat was cooked perfect chips was chunky and fluffy was really nice meal. Had room for pudding and went for Apple Pie and custard had extra custard which cost me 50p more lol bit was worth, overall really nice meal and good prices, decor seemed dark and possible could do with a referb in my opinion but otherwise.
Convenient if you're driving up or down the A1, or staying locally. We went on a Tuesday evening and found it very busy, in fact we got one of the last tables so advisable to book. Staff very friendly and looked after us, and the food was hot and well presented. No Problems for us, we had s great meal.
Good food, reasonably priced and pleasant staff. Food was a bit slow arriving but was yummy.

THE RAM REVIEWS
Lovely, friendly good service. Have the pork belly, it took a while but the waitress told us it would - it's a slow cook dish. Worth the wait for sure. The two mains and a bottle of wine deal on Tuesdays and Fridays is a bargain. Clean pub, lovely outside area, nicer than it looks from the front.
We only had a bottle of wine, whilst stood at the bar, three members of staff stopped and asked if was being served, in this day and age this is Golden!! The staff are on point. This is how you keep customers, I will return and sample the food next time. Well done team, great customer service.
Very tasteful pub opposite Newark Castle. very good location. delicious drinks are served . In the winter it is climatically by the fireplace. The fireplace there is definitely on +. Nice to sit by the fireplace to eat or drink something. I would recommend more German and Czech beer. because they are definitely the best. The only downside to this pub is that there is no happy hour for drinks . In these times it would definitely work and more customers.

TAYLOR'S FINE DINING REVIEWS
Exquisite food the bread and butters were amazing. The cheddar and pineapple hedgehog was out of this world and as someone who doesn’t have a sweet tooth, I finished all of my deserts. The chocolate, summer berries and radish desert was mind blowing.
Amazing experience. Having visited a local Michelin star restaurant, the food at Taylor's was on par, but with a more relaxed environment. The fig liqueur and extra cheese course were a fantastic addition!
The dining experience was excellent. Not overly stuffy but warm and welcoming. Each course was well presented and the ingredients explained. We were there for nearly 3 hours and each and every dish was superb. The perfect romantic meal.
