OLDHAM PARISH CHURCH REVIEWS
Attend the Beacon Lighting Event For The Queens Platinum Jubilee. Followed the prosesion of torch bearers, along with the Oldham Bagpipers Band, from the Queen Elizabeth Hall up to Oldham Parish Church. Myself and my friend Pat enjoyed it very much even after a mix up in communications they accommodated us which was fantastic, many thanks OMBC.
A beautiful building which is certainly worth a visit. I have attended several events here which I have always enjoyed, my favourite was the tour of the crypts. Our tour guide Alan had an excellent knowledge of the history of the crypts, church and local history. I highly recommend. Staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful.
Oldham should be proud of this wonderful place. The gravestones are very interesting.

THE PARISH OF OUR LADY AND ST. PATRICK’S is a well-known Roman Catholic parish in Oldham. The church takes pleasure in hosting various groups that frequently participate in services. Situated at the intersection of John Street and Union Street West, north of Oldham Sixth Form College in the town center, the church plays a central role in the community. Over the years, the annual festival has witnessed the growth of its youth groups, where the church has been able to spot and nurture natural talent among its younger parishioners. The inaugural Mass at The Parish of Their Lady and St. Patrick's took place in December 1952, with the acquisition of the land at St. Patrick's dating back to 1940, thanks to a curate's efforts.

THE PARISH OF OUR LADY AND ST. PATRICK’S REVIEWS
The church is beautiful, and I am grateful to be able to participate in Sunday Mass here. Thank you, Lord. I have come here specifically for a pilgrimage because a visiting priest has been conducting Sunday Masses at this location. I am grateful to the local parish priest for concelebrating and providing us, the parishioners, with a blessed afternoon.
The church of my childhood. So happy to see it thriving. Even though I left Oldham it still has a place in my heart.
It was worth visiting if you are a Christian and a Catholic.
