TOP 3 PETERBOROUGH CATHEDRAL REVIEWS

It was breathtaking! I legitimately stopped when I first saw the cathedral, I was just in awe. It’s unreal in person. The details of the architecture, the history, the location. It was worth it. There’s a lawn right upfront for visitors to sit in the grass, have lunch, read books, or just admire the building. The lawn is family and kid-friendly. The inside id the cathedral welcomes you with this high monumental ceiling and goes throughout the cathedral. The entrance has a box of donations but it’s not mandatory. I donated £5 because it was worth it. The welcoming committee was very friendly and welcoming. There’s a small shop inside for souvenirs. They do hold church services but you have to look at their calendar. You can also light up candles for prayers in different sections of the building. If ever in Peterborough's surrounding areas, YOU MUST VISIT this treasure! I sat on one of the benches had my sandwich and just admired the architecture. It was a beautiful day.

Wonderful cathedral in the City Center. I especially loved the idea of a big book having milestone details related to the cathedral at the entrance that enhances the beauty of the Cathedral overall. Also it is just within walkable distance from Train station. Overall well spent day in Peterborough.

We went for the 90s dance music event. For one night it was a nightclub. Truly an amazing experience. Well done. Great to see the Cathedral coming up with ideas to promote and also raise money for the upkeep.

This is officially our family home. Honestly, I can't fault the service, the Holy Spirit filled atmosphere, the amazing people, the service provided to existing and new members. I can go on. I would encourage anyone looking for somewhere they can worship and become part of a family to visit Kingsgate Church!

Great Hope into Action conference. Really making a difference to homelessness nationally. Great venue. Good parking. Amazingly spacious facility. Great hospitality. Well done. Praise God.

Great atmosphere. Warm welcome .helpful members .Best church ever .only missed 3 services since found it .completed Alpha I have a life group and now doing next steps .

TOP 3 CROWLAND ABBEY REVIEWS

Fantastic abbey/parish Church brought to life by a wonderful guide. Some fantastic stories and info available, with a room that has interactive screens helping you to visualise the changes over the years. The ruins are amazing with the 2nd oldest illustration of halleys comet carved into the south aisle ruin. Entry is free , there is parking on site and certain times of the year (fen days) there is a chance to climb the towers as well.as see the skull of saint/Abbot Theodore. It's Well worth a visit and also do walk into the village and see a very rare bridge.

We had a fabulous visit. A very knowledgeable lady volunteer, Sybil who gave us loads of interesting historical facts. It is an amazing building with a fabulous history and we will go again for sure.

What a great Abbey, extremely well kept, beautiful neat graveyard all the grass is cut lovely , benches to sit on , no bins so you take all rubbish home with you with is a excellent idea.
