St Mirin's Cathedral Paisley is a replacement cathedral building for the old church on East Buchanan Street. The new cathedral church building was designed and constructed in neo-Romanesque architecture in 1931. The church is set in a warm and inviting environment, attracting people from neighbouring communities to attend prayers, worship, activities, and events. St Mirin's Cathedral Paisley features exquisite stained glass windows depicting twelve angels. The cathedral has a trust that aims to advance the preservation and understanding of their rich architectural heritage by organising occasional meetings and preachings for the local community.

2025 Update: The cathedral is open for private prayer daily from approximately 7.30 am Mass until 4 pm.

Parish of Saint Conval was founded in 1898 and serves the local Catholic community. The original church was the Church of St. Ethelburga (+675 AD, the founder of the first monastic order for women in Britain), which served the mining communities of Inkerman (near the present-day site of Glasgow Airport). When the mine was fully worked, Inkerman was abandoned, and the church was transported whole to Linwood. Parish of Saint Conval is known for its warm and inclusive atmosphere, drawing people from diverse backgrounds to participate in its regular masses, sacraments, and religious services.
