We frequently attended service at St Marie's Catholic Church. The mass service starts on time. Noticed that there may not be collections for offertory during weekdays but donations may be offered. Candles are available for praying and asking petitions. Please do not forget to drop the coin Infront of the first pillar facing the altar. There are details provided. You wont miss it. Angelus is also prayed after the service. We also got to attend the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on one Saturday we went for mass service. It was also an experience to witness a new member of the church converting to Catholism. Humbling and heartwarming. The church is within the City Centre, easy to find and very accessible. As the name implies. It's a catholic cathedral church at the centre of the city or the heart of sheffield. Has different mass times refer to Google all information is there. Relatively small but has its warmness and ambience.

Must visit church in the city centre, built in the 18th century Gothic architecture. Peaceful place to sit and pray. Very good and welcoming community, their bell tower is very renowned.

I go here to attend meetings with sheffield parent carer forum. So this is not a review of the church. It's a big building with lots of meeting rooms. Rooms tend to have tea and coffee making facilities. Toilets are accessible as there are lifts throughout. The building is wheelchair accessible but I don't know how easy it would be for mobility scooter. There's a little office as soon as you go in and they're very helpful directing you to which room you need to be in. Rooms are clean, carpeted and temperature is always warm in the winter. Great venue to host a meeting or workshop.

As a regular event coordinator that uses St. Mary's for a social enterprise, they cannot be nicer and more supportive of the sheffield community. Most places wanted to charge us loads and these guys have always charged us what they can afford to, knowing we are not for profit. The food is lovely and reception staff are the nicest in the world! It's just got it's heart in the right place which in this day and age, genuinely is just priceless. Long may it continue to be such a warm welcome here for whoever you are.

I really appreciate how much this church has stepped up to offer space and help to the local community. Staff are always friendly when we visit (we use their meeting rooms for the charity I volunteer for).
