My mum passed away in a nursing home and the first thing I was asked upon arrival to see her was "who is your funeral director" I didn't have a clue and spent the next 10 mins sat next to mum, in a blind panic, googling funeral directors in the area. Fair cost had the highest score so I went with them. It turned out to be a good recommendation as I phoned them and after a very quick conversation, they took care of everything. They were professional and helpful at all times and dealt with absolutely everything from the cremation down to flowers, printing orders of service and putting a notification in our local paper. They really made a difficult time so much easier. I would highly recommend.
