The professional manner in which Nathaniel has helped me on several occasions with various computer issues has always been first-class. His technical knowledge and communication skills are excellent. With his charming personality, Nathaniel always shows a genuine interest in assisting me and takes ownership of my concerns. Without any hesitation, I would very highly recommend Sheffield Computer Services.
The service is outstanding. Take a steam-driven old laptop (don’t ask why!) with a partially obscured screen and an OS one up from MS-DOS and matching programs – replace the screen, replace the OS but retain enough compatibility with programs and complete all this in double quick time for an unbeatable price. Nathaniel offers a very different approach to others – centred on what the customer actually wants rather than ought to have. This is now my place of choice for help.
Great computer repair services had an old but still regularly used computer tower with all the fans going. Nathaniel had it priced up quickly and repaired just as quick, a very good price compared to what I thought the cost was going to be He also kept me informed during the process so I knew where I and he was during it all. 10/10 great guy great service. - Matthew K Reply
An excellent job done! My problems were easily fixed and a number of improvements were also made. And I paid less than half of what I used to! I would recommend Nathaniel to everybody!
Had a weird upgrading problem with a Gigabyte B550 Gaming X mboard not seeing a GTX 1660 GPU. I handed the problem to this guy and got the up-and-running PC back in less than a week at a very reasonable price. Excellent expert service. - Michael M Reply
After becoming dissatisfied with the service I was receiving from a company I had been using for computer repairs for years, I decided it was time for a change. I chose Sheffield Computer Services, and I am very glad I did. The previous attempt at repair had left a working computer not recognising any of its internal drives and unbootable, and was told that it was on its last legs. Nathaniel got the computer recognising the drives and booting again and installed a fresh copy of Windows 10 Pro. He also took the time to make sure the latest drivers were installed for all aspects of the computer, especially the graphics drivers, which has enhanced its performance in that respect. Nathaniel was friendly, polite, courteous and respectful at all times, and managed to get a computer that according to the previous company was on its way out working well again. Nathaniel did me an absolute solid of fixing my laptop twice in an emergency! Once the C drive was too full and it got stuck in a death loop. He fixed it mega quick and for a super reasonable price including updating Windows. Then, I spilt tea on the keyboard. Complete panic. Nathaniel took it from me the same day and it was dried out within a few days with no damage or extra costs! I cannot recommend Sheffield Computer Services enough! - Josie Reply
Nathaniel from SCS was very professional and efficient, promptly arranging to order and replace my lap top battery, but he was also really humane, and totally clear and un patronising ( as with the best teachers :) answering my varied list of IT queries. He’s eased my mind about a couple of concerns, sorted out some operating stuff for me and I’ve learnt a lot. Nathaniel has been helping us with our computers for many years. This includes setting them up initially and then when things go wrong solving the problem for us. He is clearly very knowledgeable and we have not yet had a problem he has not been able to solve. He is always prompt in answering calls and absolutely reliable in attending call-outs. When we have had to leave a computer with him it has always been ready on the agreed date. Mostly Nathaniel has been able to solve the issue on site in a very short space of time.
