“Generations Dance Academy is a fabulous, family-run school that offers more than 50 classes per week. The dance school teaches students from 3 to 117 years old in various genres. All students are nurtured to be the best dancers they can be and have numerous performance opportunities. Generations Dance Academy has an on-site café/waiting area with viewing screens of all three studios, free wifi, and drink & snack facilities. Their ardent and experienced teachers are all enhanced DBS checked, first aid trained, and fully insured. The school works closely with prestigious institutions such as the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD), Acrobatic Arts, Showtime Circus, Progressive Ballet Technique, and Alixa Flexibility. The dance studio regularly offers examinations, providing exceptional training for hard-working dancers and also a great venue for the casual, ‘just for fun’ dancer. Their studio offers over 700 square metres of space, including three spacious studios with sprung floors and air conditioning, a welcoming café called ‘The Barre,’ a private gym known as ‘The Power House,’ and an on-site dance shop, Dancewear Boutique.

My daughter has been at the dances school since we moved to the area. It’s like our second family. She is excelling in competitive dance now and teachers are great helpful her meet her potential. They demonstrate all the core values of building confidence, resilience, leadership and team work. Class prices are very reasonable. I also love the adult tap class!.

I've just watched the performance of Eternity from Generations. I continue to be impressed with the skill, technique and hard work from all of the dancers taking part. No doubt the teachers and trainers at the school have a large part to play in this. My child enjoys going here for lessons each week.

My daughter has attended GDA for many years, during which time her dancing and confidence have flourished in this welcoming, safe, and supportive environment.

My daughter has been at Generations since 5 years old. She adores the school and the training has enabled her by age 14 to be so technically and performance trained that she is winning at dance competitions against some of the best dancers in uk and the world. Her training has enabled her to win multiple scholarships with dance colleges and has led her to opportunities to perform on national stages at dance conventions and this year at a large uk festival. MOTION DANCE ACADEMY REVIEWS

Motion Dance Academy is not just a fantastic dance school which has developed my daughters dancing to an amazing level but it is such a family experience. My daughter has made friends for life in her classes and loves dancing more than anything else. She takes classes nearly every day and the confidence, skills and her general development is all down to Miss Mollie. Mollie nurtures every dancer and her encouragement and support is incredible. We are incredibly fortunate to have found Motion and Miss Mollie.

I have been dancing with Motion Dance Academy since the dance school first started and it is truly the best dance school!!! Miss Mollie is an inspirational teacher and I have learned so much under her guidance. The dance school is a totally inclusive and supportive environment with amazing opportunities all around and a wide variety of different classes/styles suited for everyone. Miss Mollie and all of her team put so much time and passion into Motion and it really shows. I wouldn't ever want to be anywhere else.

My daughter has attended for over a year her confidence was knocked by another dance school... but Mollie and her other teachers have grown her confidence massively to the point she entered a solo comp this year which absolutely astonished me to watch her walk on stage alone after being knocked down by the other dance school. Absolutely amazing dance school and wonderful teachers who really care about the children and helping them progress not just with dance with general confidence and ability to shine thank you.

My daughter has been dancing with Vicky Grant for nearly 2 years, starting with ballet and now does a total of 3 classes as well as taking part in last years summer school. The school feels a very safe and supportive environment to learn in and their approach to safeguarding was very impressive when I was looking for a dance school. The teachers, as well as all who are involved with the school, are lovely and clearly dedicated to what they do, evidenced by their incredible dance shows. Students are given the opportunity to take part in exams and dance shows, but it never feels as though there is pressure for them to take part if they don’t want to. As a parent, it’s a really nice place to go, particularly with Cafe Purple downstairs which has a great selection of cakes! In the words of my daughter ‘dance at Vicky Grant School of Dance, it’s amazing!.

A wonderful team of dancing professionals. I started Vicky Grant's School of Dance to boost my confidence and fitness, and it really has helped me so much! Charlotte is a wonderful teacher and I have enjoyed the adult street dance class very much. This is a great dance school to come to if you are just starting out, looking for a new hobby around work, want to boost your confidence, or just want to get fit and enjoy yourself at the same time! I would highly recommend Vicky Grant School of Dance to anyone.

I decided to join Vicky Grant's Adult Tap Dance class after watching the talented Dancers at a couple of events around St Ives. I haven't had much experience with Dance previously but after working with Vicky, Sophie and Stephanie I'm building confidence and ability. I'm looking forward to trying out the other adult classes! I'd recommend other adults who are looking to learn something new to try out the range of Adult Classes that Vicky Grant School of Dance has to offer.
