Denise has helped us so much. Our dog Louie was having trouble interacting with other dogs, constantly barking whenever he saw one and trying to pull towards them, it was quite scary. Denise helped us, showing us the techniques we could use in our training and practising with us. As well as the training, she was also very helpful in talking to us and offering advice about Louie's day to day wellbeing and stimulation. Her techniques were all positve reinforcement and compassionate, and the progress we've seen has been extrodinary. He has recently been ok to play off lead with her dogs. We would highly recommend her!

I cannot recommend Denise enough. I got my springer spaniel through lockdown, I patiently waiting for a year before his litter was eventually here. I booked him onto another puppy course and went to one class as that trainer didn’t suit our needs. Then we went to awesome paws, the first puppy class we went to Freddie had resource guarding and I left that class and cried all the way home, I didn’t know what to do but working with Denise I can now say after months and months of trust building techniques that Denise has shown me we now have progress! I’m delighted, it’s a long road but Freddie is supported where he needs through what Denise had taught me. Not only has Denise supported us both through Freddie’s issues she introduced him to scentwork and as a springer he loves it! He adores Denise and loves to be rewarded! So I’m summary…. Always use reward base training and look no further because Denise is the answer to your prayers!

We had a 1-2-1 Assessment with Denise to tackle a couple of training issues with our 1 year old Cockapoo. Denise gave us some more ‘tools’ to help us and our dog responded straight away and we now feel able to tackle the next stages with confidence and hard work.

I highly recommend Kaela, she’s brilliant! We started our training journey with Kaela back in October as we were struggling to help our young Lab x Rottweiler overcome some frustration and reactivity challenges. Kaela is incredibly understanding and knowledgeable, giving us the skills and confidence we needed to help meet Obi where he was at. With Kaela’s guidance, 1-1 training sessions and reactivity classes, Obi has made so much progress in the last few months. Our relationship with Obi has grown so much and it shows. We can’t recommend Kaela’s K9 Training enough! Over just two months, Kaela completely transformed our American Bully, Fred, and our lives along with him. Before we started working with Kaela, walks with Fred were incredibly stressful. He was scared of his own shadow, would react to other dogs, and constantly pulled on the leash. It got to the point where we genuinely felt like there wasn’t much hope for improvement, and taking him out became something we dreaded. From the very first session, Kaela’s ability to assess Fred’s behavior and figure out.

Just WOW! Kaela has been helping us with Lady and I’m blown away by the results after just 3 sessions. Lady was very nervous, had disengaged from us, was incredibly sad and was fearful & aggressive to some other dogs.
