Our visit from head trainer Malcolm on Sunday was just brilliant! We learnt so much from his wealth of knowledge and expertise and were excited to put the lessons into practise. We are already seeing improvements in our dogs behaviour (we have two Border Terriers, aged 4 and 19 months), and this is testament to the training provided. Thank you, we will not hesitate in recommending your services to anyone needing help with their dogs.

We absolutely love Fawn training - Malcolm has been absolutely amazing helping us with our 10 month old nightmare of a Vizsla!! From just one session we were able to reclaim our sofa! And we reached out again to Fawn a few months later to help us with some lead work. Both Tilly and Malcolm respond quickly and can’t do enough to help you. An excellent service, would recommend to anyone!.

Had 1:1 session with John for my Labrador and learnt so much in one session. My dog instantly took to John and he was able to show me what my dog is capable of. John was approachable and knowledgeable and gave practical breed specific advice; safe to say my Labrador crashed out asleep the moment he got in the car. I applied the techniques shown that evening and it was clear to see that my Labrador was excited to develop his retrieving skills and we will be adding this into our daily walks. I first engaged with FDS when we decided to get a puppy. I'd have a couple of dogs growing up but I had never been the owner so thought it wise to seek some advice. We had an initial consultation where Claire came to our house. It was a great opportunity for her to see us and our new puppy in the setting where the puppy would grow up. Following on from that we have been along to puppy classes, which were the main objective. But like children and sport, these classes became the height of fun for our dog. We then progressed to beginners gundog classes, into novice and we are now at intermediate level with advanced next on the cards. John and Claire are fantastic and truly supportive. Our dog is of course part of the family and he has his hobbies just like the rest of us.

I have been training my dogs with Claire and John of Family Dog Services since January 2018. My first dog has completed the beginner, novice, intermediate, advanced and working gundog classes. My younger dog is just starting novice. I cannot wish for better trainers as they really do go above and beyond and provide an exceptional service! Whether you want puppy classes, behavioral consultations or gundog specific training. I have had advice every time I have asked a question and encouragement when I felt like things were going wrong. My only warning is it does get a bit too addictive once you see how much the dog is enjoying themselves!!
