We've had dogs for thirty years. Freddie, our 5-year old current standard poodle, is the first one to have had training as a pup. So there was every hope for us. Then at the age of 3, he started to bark in the car whenever we pulled in at Hatt services, in fact, he kicked off as soon as we got to the roundabout. This then extended to car parks in general, and it drove me mad. It takes a lot for me to lose my temper, but my screaming and bad language were a clear sign that I was losing it. I was either going to give him away or contact a dog behaviourist. Freddie has been walking happily with Victoria and a party of four-legged friends for nearly 3 years. I didn't know that Victoria was a behaviourist! It took her less than ten minutes to alter his mindset, and I watched in astonishment. The dog was quick to get it, not so the owner. I thank her for her warmth and patience in the way she helped me to understand how I was contributing to Freddie's unwelcome behaviour. She has given me, not only clear and simple strategies to put into place, with immediate positive results, but also an insight into my dog's thinking, which I simply didn't have, and this after 30 years! I could not recommend Victoria enough! She is absolutely brilliant with our Macedonian rescue, Max. We initially had a 1-2-1 training session as Max was very vocal when meeting other dogs out and about. Within roughly half an hour we were out walking with Nelson with no concerns. Max has since joined weekly group walks and absolutely loves it. The best part is receiving photos from every walk - all the dogs look like they’re having the best time and are so happy! We recently adopted another dog, Otto, and when he is old enough to go on group walks I wouldn’t want him to go with anyone else. You can tell that Victoria isn’t just doing this for a job, but is doing it because she truly loves and cares for the animals. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy who will treat your pet like their own, Victoria is the person - she is brilliant.

I have a 10-month-old Labrador who is on the go constantly! Victoria worked very intensively with my girl, socialising her with other dogs, supporting her to learn to play with toys with other dogs. And above all basic manners!! Basic training had gone out the window in my household but Victoria worked her magic and I cannot believe how more obedient and chilled my pup is! Thank you

So happy with the service at Paws & More! I really struggled to find someone that would pop in and feed our house cats in the comfort of their home. It was a relief to find a service that was not just for dogs. George was amazing, the communication was clear and it was obvious the cats had enjoyed their visits.
