CHEQUERS FISH BAR REVIEWS

Popped in while in the area and was greeted by a very bubbly lady who was extremely polite/friendly I went for the standard cod n chips it was a lovely chunky fillet of fish cooked to perfection with a very generous amount of chips the curry sauce was delicious. I couldn’t finish it all but certainly gave it a good go the shop was very busy for a lunch time will definitely pop in again if in the area.

Have seen recent reviews regards failing standards , however I have eaten fish and chips all over the country and can say that this is among the best i have had. I call in regularly and have never been disappointed. The fish is delivered fresh every day and superbly cooked. I agree the toilet is a bit iffy so I don't use it! Also nice village to walk round and lovely fresh bakers across the road. Only eat fish and chips here so can't comment on burgers etc.

Takeaway fish and chips were very good. We ordered over the phone and they wait till we turned up to put it all together. Fresh chips and the fish was ready. Excellent service from all the staff.

MARINOS FISH BAR REVIEWS

My visit was just after the August Bank holiday. It's a fab little chippy that I spotted by chance tucked behind the golden arches whilst walking back to my hotel. The guys were brilliant, friendly, chatty, funny, and provided me with a superb supper. It was just the ticket having walked too many miles on the Shaun in the Heart of Kent Sculpture Trail. I opted for a small, plain sausage and chips, which I sat and ate a short distance away at the river front (River Medway). As a bonus, they were skin on chips, too!!! Just perfectly cooked, crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and not at all greasy. Throughly enjoyable. Great value for money.

Wonderful cod and chips. White soft tangy flesh on the fish was lovely. So tasty. Was still piping hot when I got home. Very generous portion of delicious chips. Couldn't eat them all mainly because I was poorly with a migraine. Finished off the chips next morning for breakfast and they were just as nice cold. Really nice owners. Lovely couple.

The best fish and chips by far in Maidstone, first time a couple of weeks ago, and I won’t be going anywhere else from now on I had cod and chips my daughter had burger and chips both very nice would definately recommend.

Fish and chips were amazing. Fish had a melt in mouth texture. Turkish staff was very friendly polite and helpful.

They're a great team, all very friendly and helpful. The food is good and nice and hot. Keep up the good service guys n gals.
