Wanted to come here for ages. The food is so so good. Especially recommend the battered mushroom!! The chips were gorgeous too. Only issue is it is cash only and the nearest cashpoint is the big tesco which is about a 10 minute walk.

Amazing gluten free fish and chips. Fresh fish you can taste. No gluten free chip shop curry sauce but the balti sauce is gluten free and is immense.

Really pleasant experience here today with my partner at Black Country Chippy. Here is an old hometown re-visit that has been worthy every single time of my service. The staff are ever so pleasant, great with communication and orders, the quality in their food and overall, personally, my experience was ever so delightful. Thank you to the lady that served me, gem! Compliments to all the chefs, food was so fresh and crisp yum! Food was incredible, as it has always been, but must say it looked fantastic. Batter on the fish was so light and crisp, the chips were done perfectly too, food wasn't unpleasantly greasy, tastes and textures were exceptional. I've always spoken highly of BCC to family and friends and today really had my company pleased. "they're really setting the standard" came from the partners relative, who has never experienced the wonder of orange battered chips before, or a kebab meat with those chips especially done this good! If I can't convince you enough to visit here and give it a go, the deals and the stores design are eye catchers! - really recommend you check the family board deals, wow! With rising prices, BCC here in Great Bridge, is one truly stuck to my heart.

Best chippy in the Black Country, ordered cod and chips and sausage and chips, and got 1 free! Reasonably priced and cod was so nice and so were the chips, staff were really nice and gave me a good portion.

A friend went in for me. The queue was long but worthwhile. I'm in the doghouse for not buying more. As I'm several miles away, I had to reheat my cod and chips. However, 6 mins in the air fryer at 150° was enough to revive the precious parcel of naughtiness. Delicious.

Wasn't aware of this place near West Brom until they popped up on Google. Convenient location and lots of parking nearby. Was most surprised when they asked "battered or normal" chips. Flummoxed me a bit to be fair as had not seen or tasted battered chips for a while. Ordered a couple of battered sausages too. Delicious and reasonable serving of medium chips. Great chippy! Kid-friendliness: Done small portions for children too good value.

The best fish and chips I’ve ever eaten. Even the smell when I walk past smells SO good. Plus they are so generous with their amounts.

Absolutely delicious! The chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just how I like them. Plus, the fish was cooked to perfection, with a light, crispy batter. The portion sizes were generous, and the service was friendly. Definitely coming back for more.
