Called today for the 1st time after reading the reviews . Ordered 2 large fish,rag pudding ,chips n gravy ,all excellent n tasty at reasonable cost . Deffo going back Just to note this chippy is cash only.

Excellent traditional English fish and chips. The food was delicious and tasty and the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. Great service all around and excellent customer satisfaction. I was hungry and popped in yesterday for sausage and chips. Tasted it in the car and ended up finishing it right then and there because it was so delicious. The girls there are always nice and friendly too.

I've visited once a fortnight for years to collect chippy tea for myself and my elderly Mother, rag pudding is her favourite and fish is her second favourite so we alternate the order each visit and it's always top notch; the owner and his staff are the best, long may they continue.

Excellent sized portion of chips especially as English chippers tend to be on the smaller size portion. The Irish curry sauce is fantastic. The cod was a good size and tasted fresh. The staff are very polite and happy. They do accept card which is helpful however use cash where possible . Very good value for money.

We are new to the area and wanted a chippy tea. After a quick Google I decided to try Waterloo Chippy. It was a good idea. Nice food. Friendly helpful staff. Parking was easy on the road opposite. A real property traditional chip shop. Excellent. Well done to the owners and staff. Thanks We will be returning for more real chippy tea's.

Just tried this chippy for first time today....meat and potato pie chips and gravy...£4.00..great price and it was all good ......haven't seen pies that cheap around ashton chippys.....so give it a try see what you think.
