“The Sheldon Arms offers excellent pub food all day, including their famous daily rotisserie and carvery and freshly prepared daily specials. This is a Sizable pub with a carvery, classic grub, real ales, and a kids' outdoor play area. This family-friendly carvery pub features a chicken rotisserie and serves fresh, homemade food from their new menus, along with locally crafted Cask Marque-accredited ales. The Sheldon Arms is located just off junction 23 of the M60 on Lord Sheldon Way in Ashton-Under-Lyne, close to the Ashton Moss complex and Snipe Retail Park. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a drink with friends in the beer garden or have a meal with the family in a cosy restaurant, the Sheldon Arms is the perfect spot. You can also enjoy their Pub Lunch menu with two mains for just £21.95. On Tuesdays, they serve fish and chips with a free drink. Wednesday is Wine Wednesday, where you can buy 2 large glasses of wine and get the rest of the bottle for free. Join them on Thursdays for a free pub quiz at 9 PM, with free chip butties and gravy for all participants. All children’s meals come with free ice cream.

Decided to pop in during lunch to see the renovation and wasn't disappointed feels so much better and modern now. Removing the rear bar has allowed much more room and extra room for dining. As always 1 of the best if not the best carverys around wasn't disappointed. Food excellent service excellent feel and comfortable excellent. Was extremely busy but I suspect this will continue as it always was so would recommend booking. Keep it up.

We called in yesterday after attending a funeral. We hadn't booked, but the staff went all out to accommodate us. The food was excellent,service was exceptional. We will definitely call in again when in the area. Thank you to your wonderful team.

The second best carvery in the area, but certainly The Fletchers is a better restaurant overall. They also do a rather good pizza!

Been going in here a while now and I love it. The food is good and the staff are really friendly. There's a speed quiz every Thursday which is very entertaining and the staff are are always smiling and very helpful. I often go in after going fishing on the nearby canal. Big shout out to Katie and Sophie this week who make a great team behind the bar and always keep us entertained with their banter.

Big restaurant but it has a cosy feeling. Tastefully decorated and clean. We had a meal from the main menu and it was very tasty. Next time we're going to try the carvery, it looked delicious. Staff very friendly. What more do you want? We'll be back!

Great place for carvery, however it's hit and miss I think as the first time I came here - the beef was done pink and perfect for me, however the next few times I came it was overcooked and dry - but I guess that's subjective to how everyone likes their beef cooked.

Best Carvery in the area ! . Selection of roast meats , pies and a vegetarian pie option included in the price. Best range of perfectly cooked vegetables I have ever come across including roast parsnips ! . The Staff are fantastic and very happy to help . Prices are very reasonable and represent good value for money . The restaurant area is open and has a good layout, with tables not too close together. The Queens Arms Audenshaw is truly a hidden gem and certainly worth a visit.

Would like to say a massive thank you to Cara & team Queens Arms Audenshaw for our wedding breakfast and fantastic buffet couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend for all occasions fantastic staff & brilliant DJ. Thank you Cara for all your hard work massive 10 out of 10.

Love this place. Great food, friendly, helpful staff and fantastic atmosphere. Always worth a drive out x.
